This looks like the best iPhoto update in ... ever? Events were nice, but didn't do anything NEW, it was just an automated way to do something you could do pretty easily already. Facial recognition, though, is a massive time saver. Ya, you can manually tag photos by persons name, but if you're like me and take a couple hundred shots at a time, this is a HUUUUUGE deal.

I agree..... also if you look at the times..they have only been talking about it for 20 minutes....

Nvm. Somebody apparently hacked their way into the feed, so Schiller wasn't the one retracting anything. Now there's a comment which says "Sex Me". Seriously weird.
 
If Steve Jobs really had just died, would they have just inserted it into the feed and kept going like it was nothing? Would they have just kept the keynote going as if nothing was happening? Of course not.

Common sense, folks.

Edit: Heh, someone has definitely hacked the feed.
 
id be funny if the hacker actually ****ed things up like said new 19 in MBP or 42 inch cinema display

Folders are a hold over from inefficient ways of doing things. Meta data and saved searches/smart folders are the way forward, and Apple is embracing that.

Er, iLife '08 was all about iMovie. Everything else just got features tacked on, iMovie was totally redone.

common sense! If you haven't seen it on any other feed for the keynote, what makes you think that it is actually true?!? other media sources would have picked up on it at the exact same time!

Obviously, you have some script kiddie playing with you and enjoying it because you're believing it! Wouldn't you expect something like this to happen, especially at MW?

Either Arn pulled the plug or the hackers pulled it.

If it was the hackers, I hope they are found and _____________ (insert various torture method here).

I'm bummed. MR had the FASTEST updating stream this morning.
