I'm waiting for the Belkin 3-in-1 Wireless Magsafe Charger. It's $20 more but includes a 40w power supply.
I'm a dreamer!A bit expensive, but will be buying one day one. I love the compact design; it will be great once travel begins again.
It’s pricey sure. But so are the phones? I mean a fully loaded iPhone 12 Pro is $1500 USD. 129.00 is less than 1/10th the cost of the phone. You guys are using pricing metrics based on prices that have been gone for a few years now.
Samsung has been charging $89.00 for their fast Qi wireless charging stands (which only hold one phone and aren’t nearly as travel friendly) for years now. (Since the s5 or s6).
Im not saying it’s a good price. But it is priced to market standards for a branded accessory.
Go Anker, do your Anker magic and make a cheap 40€ knock off.![]()

Same here ... but I'm not so sure about that magnet ring not appearing on the back even if you don't use MagSafe accessories. We all see how after a bit of time leather wallets take contours of the cards and items, etc. I'm just waiting for it to show up no matter what, then I'll buy a MagSafe charger /sGlad i ordered an Apple Leather Case... now i won't be tempted to buy this, because i don't want to get the ugly ring on the back![]()
Exactly. I can see how people who “just want to charge” would view this a “rip-off.” However, comparing it to cheap Amazon chargers isn’t really a great argument. Is there anything similar to this from a third party company? I don’t think so. Regardless of how offended people seem to be about an accessory they don’t have to buy, I’m sure Apple will sell a ton. It really provides nothing, because it's a charging device that isn't capable of charging out of the box.At $129, it is not worth it to me for what it provides.
Strange, how those go hand in hand far too often. That being typed, I'll end up picking up three for travel. You have to be either stupid to buy for that much or filthy rich who doesn’t value money.
Bro same! Lmao this does not seem appealing at all. I don’t see the hype whatsoever.Terrible design. Looks like a cheap piece of vinyl. Probably took a few hours to design. I love Apple products, but come on. We deserve better. $129.00? No thank you. Take the 1 off and I still wouldn't pay $29.00 for it.
Of course you will, its the best Magsafe charger ever and its made for you.$129 is definitely an overprice on something that takes two cheaper components and merges them in to one but let's be honest...I'm still going to buy one on day one.
Go ahead. But the last time I looked, neither the HomePod mini nor the Apple TV could charge my phone, AirPods or Watch. For $150 I can get a number of more advanced devices, including HomePod mini and Apple TV.
