What sort of website is MacRumors? That's not reporting news, that's treating all its readers like complete dumbasses.

I don't feel like a "complete dumbass" for reading this news article post.

In fact, you may want to consider the maturity involved in your response to the news article post. If you don't like something just stop reading or move along with your day. I don't care to print out a paper iPad but mocking someone who does is classless.

Actually, by definition, it's "out of stock"
im not following.... (just woke up)

no, neither do i! im glad that we can get a 1:1 representation of it in our hands, cheap too! no complaints.

iPad 2G, now more recyclable. WiFi and 3G signal hit the roof, replaceable battery option and when it heats up it can make for a great fire to keep you warm. :p :D

I'm amazed you can write that after reading back through this thread:

"Slow news day, huh?"
"This is seriously on page 1?"
"I expect this from Endgadget, not MacRumors"

I understand you run this website, 'Arn'? Don't be so arrogant and actually listen to the people who actually use your site. Personally I come here for news, not crap like this. I've followed MR for a good few years now and it's becoming seriously tired (in appearance and content) and is becoming less and less important in the world on Apple news. And with that attitude will continue to become so.

I know this should be in 'Site Feedback", but if I put it there I'll be banned for multiple posting.

And yet you take the time to gripe at length - evidently a slow news day for you as well.

It's not like it's crowding out other critical breaking news/ rumours.

Personally I don't know what's more hilarious -
the paper ipad mockup or..
reactions such as the above post.

Ohh the outrage!

That's it I will no longer read this thread.
(ok after the next two pages.)

Can I make a plea for people to stop posting comments like;

"can't believe this is on page 1" or "call this news"

If you don't care for the story don't read it. Why bother wasting your time to enter the comments section and start bashing. It's very arrogant behaviour.

And it's not as if macrumors often or ever misses out any news that you are interested in.

data plan?

does at&t have a data plan or is this unlocked; i assume it does not have "flash" nor a webcam :D

This is getting ridiculous...

Seriously? Shouldn't this be on something like Page 10? It's bad enough that the advent of the iPad is helping to drive up book prices - now it's going to contribute to the wasting of paper. Way to go fan boys. Way to go.

This is the kind of junk that makes all of us Mac and iPhone owners look stupid.

The story was funny enough without all the people wasting their time to tell us all what a waste of time they think the story is. lol :D

No... but it was still wrong :p

I won't belabour the point, but in the grand scheme of things, Steve's health has very little to do with the advancement of Mankind.

Perhaps I'm somewhat jaded, having seen people in much more dire prediciments than your Beloved Saviour. :p

Getting all angry about a post on an Apple rumors website?!

ROTFLMAO.

Some people need to fricken relax!

I bet all those complaining about this have a paper iPad sitting on their desk right now!

On another note, check out the storage on the PDF...

On the picture it looks theres not much Black Bazel, the iPad have big Bazel and the one on the picture don't have it

Print it out.

The bezel is the perfect size for a normal human thumb.

People who critique the bezel size are out of their minds, seemingly.

This is what I don't understand. There are often stories here I don't care about, so I just don't read them. I don't read them and then feel compelled to comment on them. People can be bizarre in their ability to force their hatred and spite on other people.

It takes literally no energy or effort to skip over a story that does not interest you on the MacRumors front page.

Best iPad yet - there is no better iPad out

This is the most matte screen that the iPad will ever have, sadly.

My paper-Kindle (just a book) beats the hell out of this paper iPad. Seriously, the new paper MacBook Pro is just around the corner and it will be similarly priced. In addition, it will hardly weight more and it will have exactly the same matte screen. Wait for that!

Look at what Apple has done to us. :D

Don't look at what Apple has done to us, look at what Apple has done to YOU!

First of all: He is not my saviour...

Second of all: I said, "that was wrong" in the sense of "wow, I can't believe he went there...", not in the sense of "you're a bad person"

Third of all: My last response was to point out the irony of your question... the ethics of your comment have nothing to do with whether Jobs ever finds out that you made it.

Personally, regardless of the circumstances precipitating the need for the transplant, I have known several people who have received transplants and, in a sense, it's the gift that keeps on giving... misery, that is. I feel sorry for all people requiring organ transplants, not only for Steve Jobs.

I remember when the first iPhone came out I printed up a fake iPhone and tried to trick my family and friends. It was fun for a minute :)
