Just another reason in the stack that I'll keep my music local and not be at the mercy of the cloud or WiFi to listen to music.
Yeah! Like when iTunes went down, like every day for what, three weeks?!?! And Apple's 'System Status' page nearly always seemed to say 'What me worry. Everything is working perfectly. It's supposed to do that'
I wonder if steve and Tim played 'bad cop, good cop' around there before he died. We aren't hearing about people being nailed to the walls as much (at all) under Tim's leadership.
She literally just made that up cuz that's a load of bollocks.
Agreed makes ZERO since does it...Something is horribly wrong if turning on the firewall has any effect on that.
I didn't say you lied, I'm saying she's full of crap. I believe you that it worked. It might be loads of bullocks sounding but it got my message to go away and the issue stopped for me.. seriously, go frigging figure... NO BS, I have ZERO explanation for it....Hey i'm not complaining here or saying others or wrong but for me It worked. I have no reason to post it here or lie .. It is rare I post on here...
Worked for me. Just hope Sky pull their fingers out and sort out the DNS issue as it's giving a false impression of Apple being at fault.I was able to stream from on my iPhone, but trying to download anything for offline playback failed.
I followed the information on this thread (about changing the DNS) and I can now download for offline playback. I haven't tried the instructions in the below link for configfuring it for Mac though, but will try later on this evening.
Hope it helps

Indeed but what about customers who aren't technically minded and telling them to change their DNS is like asking them to perform surgery? You, as a client, have the ability to 'shim' the DNS settings on your personal system.
I just discovered that my mac mini's iTunes isn't controllable via the Apple Remote app anymore. Well, or seems that way.
I bought the 'server' version, and now I can't even remote into it since I upgraded it to Yosemite...
Like I just said, steve jobs might have been a tyrant, but poop worked...
Mercifully not.
I turned it off years ago.
I'm curious… which features of Apple's software/services have you not deactivated?
Curiosity killed the cat.
Not to worry. I'm not feline.
I don't know much about office 365 status page, but I think it can even provide information I am not aware of. That is really great. If you or some of your friends are using office 365, you may know it a little bit.Yup, they really need to fix that, it's embarrassing them. They should have the best, most intelligent and up-to-date status pages online. I've seen such a thing, so I know it's possible. Come on Apple, enough with the pretending to have a "Status" page...
I seems see something, really really familiar. Was my brain broken? Hmm.While this outage is going on...
Eddie Que is hanging out at a Ferrari dealership...
Jony Ive is at a tea party with Anna Wintour...
Tim Cook is off somewhere protesting religious freedom...
Steve Jobs is rolling in his grave...
You can't test that under real world conditions until its actually running in a real word environment. Any of these issues will be cleaned up and everyone I know that signed up for this service is in a BETA trial right now.
