Yeah! Like when iTunes went down, like every day for what, three weeks?!?! And Apple's 'System Status' page nearly always seemed to say 'What me worry. Everything is working perfectly. It's supposed to do that'

I wonder if steve and Tim played 'bad cop, good cop' around there before he died. We aren't hearing about people being nailed to the walls as much (at all) under Tim's leadership.

With this kind of problem that Apple is having with iCloud and Apple Music, this is probably the right time for the board of directors to force Tim Cook to step down and fire Eddy Cue along with the Beats cronies.

It should be done before the Fall keynote.

I think Tim isn't really "hardcore" enough to pressure the staff to fix it. Buying Beats was a big mistake and look what happens now. Yes, Jobs was imperious but he was very focused on certain things without going overboard.

To buy Beats and hype Apple Music as the answer, it is embarrassing for a company like Apple experience an outage for live radio and other other services.

A good thing I did not sign up for Apple Music and stayed with the previous iTunes version.

Future looks a bit icloudy to me.

She literally just made that up cuz that's a load of bollocks.

It might be loads of bullocks sounding but it got my message to go away and the issue stopped for me.. seriously, go frigging figure... NO BS, I have ZERO explanation for it....Hey i'm not complaining here or saying others or wrong but for me It worked. I have no reason to post it here or lie .. It is rare I post on here...

I didn't say you lied, I'm saying she's full of crap. I believe you that it worked.

I got the error message once yesterday but it cleared itself in about 30 seconds and Apple Music has been working fine for me since

I'm still on 8.3 and enjoying iTunes Radio. No errors on iTunes Radio. I upgraded my 5S to 8.4 and it would not let me use iTunes Match so I went back to 8.3. Never upgraded on my 6+ or iPad.

I was able to stream from on my iPhone, but trying to download anything for offline playback failed.

I followed the information on this thread (about changing the DNS) and I can now download for offline playback. I haven't tried the instructions in the below link for configfuring it for Mac though, but will try later on this evening.

Hope it helps :)

Worked for me. Just hope Sky pull their fingers out and sort out the DNS issue as it's giving a false impression of Apple being at fault.

I wonder if they get rid of all the Taylor Swift music the Cloud will finally work when adding a A Album to my music and not crash the Cloud where the album does not add.

It is amazing the nonsense some of you posted in this thread. This is a brand new service and of course it would be best to not experience any issues, but once you start loading tons of real world people using the system. This is when issues are likely to show them selves. You can't test that under real world conditions until its actually running in a real word environment. Any of these issues will be cleaned up and everyone I know that signed up for this service is in a free trial right now.

I especially love all this Tim needs to be fired and Eddy Cue and the Beats bunch needs to go. Such foolishness, like you and anyone else could do much better. Totally and utter BS. Some of you just talk such crap from behind a keyboard. It's really laughable at best!

You, as a client, have the ability to 'shim' the DNS settings on your personal system.
Indeed but what about customers who aren't technically minded and telling them to change their DNS is like asking them to perform surgery?
While there's no doubt AM has had teething issues, current issues amongst my friends are purely down to Sky's DNS with them incorrectly blaming Apple. Luckily I've been able to go and sort out their devices so AM now works.

I just discovered that my mac mini's iTunes isn't controllable via the Apple Remote app anymore. Well, or seems that way.

I bought the 'server' version, and now I can't even remote into it since I upgraded it to Yosemite...

Like I just said, steve jobs might have been a tyrant, but poop worked...

I've been getting some small but annoying things recently.

I keep having to verify Game Centre on iOS every other day. Today, iTunes Match isn't working, nor iTunes iCloud purchases. Calendar sync is erratic. My iPad Air 2 and iPhone 5 do a soft reboot once a day; been happening for months, now.

Edit: I have to do a two-step verification for iMessage and FaceTime on the Mac AGAIN. Such a pain, because I can't use my normal passwords.

Even Steve Jobs admitted to Apples embarrassing mess known as Mobile Me and the rather convoluted yet improving state of iCloud hasn't erased Apples dim track record of marginal success in services.

No company can be excellent in all endeavors. Therefore I'd cut Apple some slack, give them another year or so and I'm certain they'll have learned and improve Music.

It's not a problem since we have great choices from others.

Yup, they really need to fix that, it's embarrassing them. They should have the best, most intelligent and up-to-date status pages online. I've seen such a thing, so I know it's possible. Come on Apple, enough with the pretending to have a "Status" page...
I don't know much about office 365 status page, but I think it can even provide information I am not aware of. That is really great. If you or some of your friends are using office 365, you may know it a little bit.

While this outage is going on...

Eddie Que is hanging out at a Ferrari dealership...
Jony Ive is at a tea party with Anna Wintour...
Tim Cook is off somewhere protesting religious freedom...

Steve Jobs is rolling in his grave...
I seems see something, really really familiar. Was my brain broken? Hmm.

And it appears that Apple is close enough to receive information from outside in a timely fashion. If users don't send feedback, they may never know the issue we all have.
