Suddenly it’s available everywhere. Apple was playing with us!!
Just picked up the 44 SS. WOW I love it compared to the 42 SS I had.
However, the haptic scroll wheel is awful. Glad you can turn that off separately from the other haptics. Yuck.

I’m in the UK and we still have 0 SS in store.
I have one ordered for delivery around 5-12 November but I’m tempted to cancel this and wait till they are in store.
I have a gut feeling we will see them in store over the next few days. Does anyone know store dates US was getting until they appeared in stores today? (I’m referring more to the SS white sport band version)

Yep istocknow and all stores including Apple store have none in the UK. I am expecting my 17th - 22nd October to switch to preparing for dispatch any moment now otherwise I would cancel and take my chances at an Apple store
Just picked up an Apple Watch Series 4 GPS + Cellular, 44mm Space Black Stainless Steel Case with Black Sport Band at Palo Alto CA. Mine was due here October 1. Got lucky checking the Apple Stories online and found this one. Keeping checking, there're showing up around the Bay Area CA.
If it were me, I'd keep the order in place until I found one in-store, then cancel the order.
Space Gray SS 44mm is available now at Lenox but it's a 40 min drive now and with traffic I dunno. Plus that mall is a CF. Cumberland is easier for me since I live 10 miles away. Perimeter had the same earlier today too.
Let's not forget the sales tax differences add up too... Nearly $22 difference between Lenox and Cumberland stores just due to tax rates
I noticed that also, the crown haptic is weaker. No way is this a deal breaker though.
It's a beautiful watch and I hope everyone lands one soon, glad they are slowly coming in now! If you're like me and obsessed over this (almost a bit sad, not really fun I might add..lol) just keep checking the IStock but ALSO, the Apple site, reload the page. Apple. com had the Freehold NJ store listed when iStock did not.
Also, I never did this Facebook Marketplace, I saw someone early this morning just outside Philly about 15 miles in South Jersey selling his SS ($800)
Figured I'd give that a try, but the guy never replied to my messages. Oh well. He still has the post listed as of 6:15pm ET
More or less everywhere received a SS 44 models today. My istocknow tracker was blinking all afternoon
Lol well it finally came in stock in an LA store but it sold out between my inventory check interval. Womp womp.
It’s meh depending on location. The Apple Store at Keystone at the Crossing in Indianapolis (my closest store) has immediate availability for the 44 mm Space Black SS with sport band and the Silver SS with Milanese loop
I'm checking the West Coast, Seattle, LA, SF. All have 44mm SS. Good to see these coming in!
What I JUST remembered, IStock sent me an email when the X came in stock last Nov. I didn't get a single email today about the watch stock near me. I guess that "Notify" is broken

So I went to the store that got them and sold out quickly and they still had them in stock. So if the store near you got them and sold out faster than you could buy it’s still worth checking out.
I actually got a few notifications today when they started popping up in my area so maybe it depends? Not sure why you didn’t get anything.
Worked fine for me -- I saw alerts off and on throughout the day today as watches became available in ATL area. Though everyone else is getting the same updates, and istocknow can run a little behind the apple store website, so you need to move quick.
Haha, I JUST saw that...you lucky lucky man!! I literally blinked and it was gone. 21 minutes in and then gone! THAT drive I could have done.
Slight hope...I guess, these are creeping up north towards the Philly, South Jersey area, but man I snooze I lose.
A big plus with this - 0% Tax!

I remember from 2015, these Milanese loops were scratching those original SS watches. I had one on my Apple Sport at the time and just removed it, the mesh at times was rubbing against the sides..no damage thankfully.

Haha, yeah, I was lucky I was looking at my phone when the istocknow alert came in. Ordered on the spot without even blinking. I saw there were two more in our area, one downtown and one in Ardmore. Hope you grabbed one of those

I saw Ardmore had one - but that was after I got back from Freehold, NJ lol! Once I saw Freehold pop up, I bought it and headed out.
Ardmore would have been more convenient but it's cool. I honestly didn't mind the little road trip, even on such a foggy, misty day.
I have been refreshing iStocknow's website almost every hour for the last few weeks. Today I refreshed and noticed that a SS with Milanese loop was in stock. I went to the Apple Store app and found the SS with Sport Band was in stock so I ordered it for in store pick up. After the order was placed, I received the email notification from iStocknow.
So, I am now the proud owner of a 44mm SS Silver with white sport band.
Now if only I could find someone to sell my SS S3 with LTE to...
