Maxfield - Los Angeles

There should be some sort of line according to the guards. They said people usually line up an hour after they close (8pm ish).

I figured the crowds would thin out today and then rise again for the weekend. I thought preordering would be the safest bet. We'll see about that anyway.

To clarify, this was info from last night. I didn't actually check the line this morning.
 
About 25 people so far.

Crazy. I'd been contemplating leaving work early to but seems people actually take the day off to line up here.

I don't believe they have any available. For their customers sure, but the guy said it's custom made so you'll have to place an order.

So if you wait in line, you can order one and have it shipped to you? Or do you need to pick it up in store?
 
It's a god damn mess here. Russians rushed the front of the line and tried cutting everyone who waited. A complete cluster****.
 
any updates on the line? I'm thinking about going over there around 2 to try and pre-order but I don't have too much time to spare waiting in line. Thanks!
 
Yeah... I'd rather wait an extra few days :cool:

The line has to be saturated with people flooding eBay & CL with watches. At $400 margin a pop, I am not sure I blame them.

I didn't get a good look but it looked to me like 20-30 people maybe? I walked in with a Russian from the line.

I would go even later, maybe 5:30 or so. You want to come in late for as few people in line if at all but not too late that you will get shut out. They do a hard stop at 7.
