I just over heard the guy say they only have 38mm in stock but the turn around time for others aren't that long

So they way it works is as follows. You show to maxfields on melrose. Wait In line for a ticket that gives you an appointment to come back place an order. A line to wait in another line, to then wait in another line #
I was in and out in about 20 min. last night. No real line. Just waiting for 2 people in front of me to pay/order. The process is slow, takes about 5-10 per person to ring you up for a "pre-order" They said the turn around is about 2 days. Hoping to hear from them today to pick up tomorrow.
Whoever keeps asking everyday for Editions, I'm pretty sure if YOU called them and asked about Edition models, they would GLADLY help you out because you are pretty much their type of client.
That being said, aren't Editions not being shipped out at all for a few weeks?

SG 42mm.
I have it on pre-order from Apple too from 4/10. User named "superbad" said he was able to order on Wed and picked up his SG 42mm on Thur.

And I JUST got the call to pick it up... 1:37pm.
Less than a 24/hr turnaround.
And my Pre-Order from 4/10 is STILL "processing"...

I have an order in with Apple for an Edition, but it won't be here until the end of May. I have called Maxfield and they won't say anything unless I am in the store. I live about 2 hours away and don't want to drive all the way down there for nothing. That is why I am asking my fellow MacRumors fans, if they are there, to please ask about the Edition. Thank you.
Ah gotcha. Understood. I'm surprised they won't say anything even for Editions.
When I was there though, I was told not to expect those for a bit. But I don't think they really know when they'll get things.

What upset me is they said they have these for the public even though they promised all shipments that come in go to pre-orders first. Now they're backtracking and saying they have a separate allotment.
That's some BS. I expressed my frustration that I'm waiting for a phone call since I already paid in full for a 38mm sports with black band and they're sitting on shelves there for people to just buy.
This is literally the biggest cluster of a release.
