Preordered a stainless steel w black sport band on Friday (after cancelling a black leather loop model from apple). and no call thus far...they probably received no ss models this weekend, who knows. If anyone received a call today for an ss model, that would be encouraging.
I wonder if knowing how much fun this would be for them would Maxfield do it again?
So a buddy I was in line with yesterday - Saturday (5/2) we arrived to get the last numbers of the day... Waited for 5 minutes to get the number. Got a reservation time and came back. Waited an hour - both of us preordered the same 42 Sport Black Space Grey - they literally just called my buddy "come pick it up" today!

WOW! the poor guys in the online ordering thread have waited 3 4 5 weeks to get the watch!
this system is SO unfair for them!
Most mobile phone companies got stock for the iPhone 6 release. Some of those retailers (cough T-Mobile) screwed up pre-orders on their end. In the end their were people who pre-ordered through Apple and some though their phone company. We still got our phones sooner then later.
Apple may be allocating some stock to retail stores thinking it will creat greater interest for the new device. Unfortunately, it is Apple fans who want the watch who are buying all the stock. I can't believe the number of watches being allocated to one retailer is enough to cause that much of a delay for those of us waiting for our watch. Apple would probably prefer watches in stock in their own stores.

I'm in the same boat. Trying to figure out how crazy that line is in the morning and how early I should try to be there. Also, is anyone else considering a SS 42mm Link?
This past week there was always a strong line before they open. My suggestion is just to drop by after 3pm, preorder 42SG and they *should call you to pick up in 1-2 days.
Can I ask you when you placed your preorder? I'm waiting for a 42mm SSw/Milanese that I ordered last Wednesday.
Edit: Don't worry. I found your earlier post stating that you ordered last Thursday.
there is a guy around waiting for his 42 Milanese Maxfield preorder since the launch day (Friday 24th)
Oh I certainly hope that's not true of the 42mm ss w black sports band...ordered this one because I hoped there would be greater availability of this one. And ordering a leather loop separately, whenever that may ship. Milanese was certainly appealing as well when I tried it at maxfields but the black sports is a good one to have for the gym anyways.

Yep ordered the same on Friday as well. There was a post here a while ago where someone got his in two days. Hoping tomorrow is the call. I would imagine this is relatively popular model. Keeping fingers crossed.
