It's funny how mad people are that they don't live in LA where a watch can be ordered and received in days or even purchased on the spot. Get over it-- I've sold 3 watches already, this is great!!!

He may be serious. When I called, the rep made it sound like barely anyone was there, as in... no one. Also she put heavy emphasis on having stock.
Since they already charge upon order, they probably have some priority from Apple as to delivery of what they have taken the money for. That said, it may be a few days for Apple to deliver the less popular models but it sounds like they have some sort of agreement with Apple that they get priority of stock. Also since they slowed down the line so much in the beginning by taking so long to process the people waiting and they sound like a small store, they are not ordering in such numbers that makes it difficult for Apple. Hmmn, that is probably why Apple did not strike more agreements like this with high end retailers in the states.
Curiously, I don't recall seeing it anywhere on this thread, but has anyone ordered a SS with classic buckle from them? If so, what was the turnaround time?

Me: But you have watches in stock.
MF: Yes, we have plenty in stock.
Me: So, you're saying you have watches in stock and no one in line, but I can't walk in and buy one?
MF: Yes, but you can try lining up tomorrow.

Let me know how it goes. I was also told one watch per person maximum, which is a complete lie since I've bought more than one.
Sounds like it'll be a waste of time but please fill us in. This whole Maxfield thing is as arbitrary and capricious as life itself.
So Apple probably gave them a quota of how many could order each day and maybe they are right up to it--or maybe a quota of certain models.
Still I don't like the way they treated you--sounds snobby and would be reason why not to shop there.
