Nearly 200? Hard to say at this point as the line is way behind the building.
Ten or so Apple reps just entered the building. No brief just yet.
Drove up from San Diego last night.
I initially planned to show up at 6am, but I decided to check the line at around 10pm, and saw the huge line...
Next thing I know.. I decided to camp out.. and here I am, 47 minutes before opening. Stoked to get my watch! (42mm SS w/ the White Sport Band)

Only the $17,000 models.
I would pay good money to see a video of them announcing that to the 200+ people in line.
That sounds like such a sad statement. It's the only store in the entire U.S. that will be selling Watches on launch day.
Wish I could go down there and see how long the line is, but the hour journey down the 10 isn't worth it at this hour.

Anyone living outside of Los Angeles will not quite understand the power of your statement about the 10 freeway. Quite happy to be driving 15 minutes to the UPS customer center in Gardena this morning!! (Avoiding said traffic and condescension for walking down Rodeo Drive in jeans, a t-shirt, and flops)
Well... Prepare to be disappointed. They will probably have a very limited supply and range of models. How many people are ahead of you?
Guy next to me in line just did a quick count and said there were roughly 180 people in line. We're wrapped all the way around the block and starting to trickle onto Robertson
I thought I saw at least a couple pallets by the guy who took the video of the shipment unloading.
I was going to go but there probably is a two per person limit so everyone in line would be X2 plus their relatives who somehow show up close to opening time.
But yes, when I called them the other day, they're confident to have a few models and a few quantities each.
They're handing out the tickets. Seem to be giving one per person. Hopefully somebody can report if the last guy in line gets one/or if they run out.
Did they tell you if they had what you wanted? About how many people have gotten tickets so far?
I have a ticket. They're standard carnival/raffle tickets and they said these are the order you're let into the store only, not a guarantee of a watch.
