That is exactly what I said, people were getting calls on Tues. night for the 42mm milanese and the 42mm SS with black sports.. That is what Maxfield's got in the Tues. shipment and since Wed, nothing new/different has been available. So unless their shipments just always have the same things, I don't think they have gotten a "daily shipment" since Tues. night. No one has reported getting any calls for anything they preordered since Tues night. Which again, were the 42mm milanese and the 42mm SS with black sports.
This is the only thing that would make sense or there's no point in preordering.

Another sinister theory would be that they have a surplus of SS because they are sold at a higher price point. They could potentially sell to a customer that came in for a space grey sport and realized they would have to preorder, OR they could just buy the stainless today. I almost fell for it and I was there on Wednesday. In fact that's the first thing the rep said to me. You want a SS with sports band? The fact that Stainless steel sport black were still available on Thursday is rather suspect considering some preorder SS BSB still haven't been filled.

So that means they have stock that's only for pre orders, or that everyone else not wanting those models can only make pre orders?
From what I have read, the last batch of calls for preorders were on Tues night for the 42mm milanese and the 42mm SS with black sports. No calls since then for any other preorders. That is why I think their last shipment was Tues night. No new stock since then has been called or offered in store.
He said that if you don't want to purchase what they currently have in stock you can pre-order. That's all he would say.
They have to hold it for you "forever" since you have to pay for it when you preorder it and all sales are final. So if you never picked it up, they don't care since it is paid for. They would get into a lot of trouble if they sold your prepaid preorder.
The better question is, when will they get your preorder? There is no guarantee they will have it next weekend for pick up.

Then what is the reason the big red FINAL SALE stamp they put on your preorder receipt? So if you change your mind, just don't pick it up and get a refund? I would think that they would have to tell you you have X number of days to pick it up before we sell it right out from under you, when you have already paid for it with it stamped FINAL SALE.
Maxfield will not confirm when the order will be available, but do tell you the turnaround is much quicker than ordering from apple.
I meant about the refund policy. I thought its final sale and nowhere does it say they'll refund you if you don't pick up in 2-3 days. If any refund I also though it'd be store credit

Has anybody else pre-ordered a 42mm SS black with a black leather loop and actually gotten theirs yet? I preordered mine last Thursday (4/30) and called today and still nothing.
