Half retina? That would be a step back to the iPad 2 days. The iPad 4 will have a double retina display. I am already working on a new iPad 4 case design that includes a fresnel lens protective covering so that you can actually see text on the device. Plus, it has a regenerative touch screen that generates power from the user swiping their fingers across the screen, thus making battery life unlimited.
Unless you are using flash.

I've heard that we are finally going to get a G5 in the iPad 3. After all these years its finally going to happen.
Cant wait for the ipad 4...so its fly like a G6!

It will be more like the iPod Touch - raise prices for the newest and keep the old one around for the budget shoppers...
gotta love apple and the way they market their products in that they make minor adjustments to the specs usually 1 year out of 2 when they could easily put on the iPad 2 now a retina display, a5 chip, more RAM.But chose not to.
By the way, the iPad is soo god damn slow. Compared the to the blackberry play book the speed of which pages load is like night and day.

Here we go again: time to plan for an iWaiting event! If the speculation is true, the invitations will be sent by Friday (Feb. 25). Lets say 3 weeks until the product is released (around the weekend of Sat. March 26).
While there are newsbits about reduced iPad price rates in some European markets, I suspect that in cace iPad-2 is introduced on March 2ed, for the following few weeks the demand for iPad-1 will drop - in fact Apple might strain the supply to build up the demand for the 2ed generation iPad(s).

Perhaps. However, I don't know if apple want the picture that the camera will make. The front camera on the iPhone is has a super short focal length and it's very unflattering to a thin face.

Because it's not out in case you didn't know. I only know the disparity in speed between the two devices because I saw it with my own eyes on YouTube. Marketing campaign by blackberry. Worth a look.

True, but even then what makes you soo sure the next iPad will have a cortex a9 chip which would make it have similar speeds to that of the play book?
LOL! And you know this how? I didn't know the Playbook was even available yet?
Of course Apple is holding out... 10 inch retina displays are everywhere and the cost is almost nothing. They just love to hold out and sell us last years tech.
