Try just doing the installation that the previous poster did .. Just place the deb somewhere in your iPhone( autoinstall folder ) and reboot.. I prefer to place it somewhere I remember then go in with ifile and install in ifile

I tried that. Does any flash content work? I've tried flash games and videos and all I get is a grey box over the content and when I press it it says "could not con..." I'm wondering if I screwed something up by trying to install it the first time. Is there any way I can remove it and try the auto install again?

EDIT: In /var/mobile I have a folder called frash with a bunch of files in it. Although I haven't been able to get any flash content to work.

What I did was:

1/ download the .deb file
2/ SSH into phone
3/ copy the .deb into private/var/root/media/Cydia/AutoInstall/
4/ restart the phone (it will install whatever .deb files in the folder above)
5/ once the phone comes on, Respring (through SBSettings)
6/ open safari and load up some flash games to test

I dont really use the commandline style when dealing with .deb files. I find just throw them all in AutoInstall folders and restart is the easiest way.

ps: if you do not have the Cydia/AutoInstall folders, just create them.

Awesome got it working on the first try.
Thanks!

I don't know how flash is suppose to work on the iPhone but it seems to work. The only problem is you can't click on any of the box where it says play or the likes. Are flash embedded videos suppose to work?

What is a site that you guys have tried that didn't work before but works now? I can't seem to get anything to work. When I try to install with ifile I get an error saying no matching processes were found. Is there some way I can delete anything frash related and try again?

I don't know if everyone that installed frash works the same but sites that have would say flash in the box and then when you click it the flash shows up. Is that how its suppose to work or did it install wrong?

i installed it the way importraverxx suggested. i haven't been able to find any videos in flash that work; i.e. zero punctuation. but i was to get the games on newgrounds to work but wasn't figure out how to play them without a keyboard

cool, video sorta works..but not really , on comedy network I can see the video ad playing but the show doesnt come on after, and its choppy and not really watchable, but fun to watch the progression of this.

the flash ads on engadget.com works.. This is just a very very early version of Frash so not everything will work as it should. All Comex did was made it compatible with iOS4 so we can't really expect it to run everything. But at least some contents can run perfectly fine.

When you go to a flash content, there is a box with the word "Flash" in it, you have to click it to load.

Try these steps:

1/ Go in your Cydia
2/ Go to Manage > Package
3/ Then look for Frash
4/ Remove it

Hope it'll work for you..

Cool, btu doesnt it suck battery running when you surf the web?

Yeah, has any of you experienced any battery drain just by surfing Safari without viewing any Flash content? I recently uninstalled some apps that were draining my phone's battery, so yeah curious.

Ive noticed that there I a little more battery drain while on safari but not with it on otherwise

Bricked means to render your phone into nothing more then a brick, paperweight, etc... No installation will do this as there is DFU mode to recover the phone. The answer is and always will be NO. No iPhones are bricked except by hardware failure.

Oh good, thanks. I've got it working on my 3GS, iPad is WIP.

Frash (flash) on iPad -- how do I click lol?

So, I've installed Frash on my mums iPad. It's working well, I'm trying to find games on miniclip.com that work, so far the desktop ones don't seem to, so I'm trying the mobile games (miniclip.com/mobile) and they load (audio, picture, menu, etc.) but I can't click Play / Options, etc.

Is there a special way I'm meant to select things, I'm guessing not and these games just aren't compatible (for now).

Any thoughts?

Welcome to the wonderful world of Half Baked Frash.

I give your mum 3 days before she asks you to uninstall Frash from her iPad.
