[Merged] Frash - Flash plugin for jailbreaked iPhone / iPad

You have to download a deb and ssh it into your phone. Not hard just have to find instructions on the web. Its made for iPad but it can be put on iPhone too sort of.
 
Just my $.02, frash didn't work well enough on the iPad to make it worth while so you couldn't pay me to put it on an iPhone. Maybe if they make some improvements down the road.
 
Will it be possible to add a Flash 10.1 plugin to mobile safari by JBing?

Is there anything on Cydia yet?

This would be a very good reason to jailbreak...
 
Frash is getting there. I'm pretty sure there's only support for Ads so far.

Considering what it's accomplishing I'd say it's pretty great.

Hope you're happy with Mobile Safari crashing.

Why would you do that? There's a reason why flash is not implemented on mobile devices.

Not worth the effort to install. Those wishing for flash enabled iDevice, get over it. It's not going to happen, even on Jailbroken iDevices.

Setting up servers and an app that works fairly well with them is impressive and an accomplishment. Just not very practical to use in its current version. Looks way too compressed and framerate is pretty bad.
 
I tried it a few days ago and it always errored out on flash content. I also uninstalled it from my iPad after a day or so. Just don't really visit sites with flash these days.
 
Flash video on a jail broken iPhone?

I did a search and couldn't find what I was looking for (I may be search stupid I know). I want to know now that I have jailbroken my iPhone is there any app that I can get from cydia or rock that plays flash video on so I don't see that message about downloading adobe flash. Thanks ahead of time.

(sorry for starting a new thread if this has been covered already)
 
Try searching for Frash. Seems not ready for the iPhone yet but working for the iPad.

FWIW, I searched for flash and didn't come up with much on the forums. Used Google and found mention of Frash on page 3. :eek:

It doesnt work. I just tried it and its ugly.
