Conclusion
Things are starting to finally come together. Flash and huge performance gains, all in the same release. Flash is CPU hungry, so Android makes everything about the environment more efficient.
Do you see it? Adobe wasnt giving Apple what they needed, and Apple wasnt giving Adobe, well, anything.
But Google thought of the problem outside the box, like the ingenious engineers to the core that they are and made Android so much faster than it could finally run full Flash without a hitch.
Oh yeah, the phone is indeed noticeably faster.
Lol, it has nothing to do with the software from Google. It has to do with Adobe getting their crap together. Plus the phone has decent hardware as well. Just because it runs, doesn't mean it won't eat the **** out of your battery.
Flash is the WORST thing ever made. It makes web pages nice and all, but Adobe has let the code go to **** for years and if you want to see just how bad it is, take a not so fast machine and go watch some youtube/hulu videos in full 1080/720p resolution. See what happens. Even on high end machines Flash sucks down resources.
Flash can stay away from my mobile.
Have you ever tried to interact with a full flash site on a mobile phone before? It's not fun.
Flash on a desktop is one thing, flash on a mobile phone, is a different ball game. Remember, you use your FINGER on your phone. Most all flash sites are optimized for MOUSE gestures, not fingers.
Let me know how it works out.
You need to read up on and try out how flash REALLY works on mobile phones before saying you want it on your device. It's not even close to the flash you use on a desktop.
I guess you always believe the salesman.![]()

Me too. My biggest worry is itunes, etc, but I just watched this and im in awe of the 4G speed.I will be test driving both the new iPhone and EVO before I pass final judgement.
I'm really hoping Apple has a few surpises up their sleeves

Did anyone else catch that additional $10/mo fee for 4G? Sheesh! To be honest, if the carriers use 4G as a reason to force higher subscription rates, they can keep it. In atts case they haven't even pushed the limits of their 3G yet. Im sure that while the increased subscribers using data phones uses up bandwidth (thats all the carriers excuses for higher fees these days), I wouldn't think that number to be exponentially higher than they are bring in revenue - ie keeping rates the same in the face of inflation.
Plus, seeing as how nearly no one has 4G yet, the $10 additional fee is just silly. Its one thing if you live in the hills of no where - but a major metropolitan area? In the very least I would expect an optional 4G tier for those that absolutely must have it AND want access to it. Call it fanboy-ism if you want, but I am happy the iphone wont have 4G this (or likely even next) time around.
My opinion, fwiw

I dont like this either, but even with the $10 4G fee added to the $69.99 unlimited plan its cheaper than the cheapest AT&T plan for the iPhone and you get unlimited texts.
