I'm just a person who loves his iPhone and would like to have flash so I can open attachments in my email that require flash. Someone above said if I wanted porn get a phone with flash. I don't receive porn in any of my emails and don't want to receive any. I was just trying to prove that you don't have to have flash on the iPhone to get porn. GET IT!

Because Sprint and T-Mobile are the two WORST carriers where I am. Might as well not even have a phone.

Good reason :) AT&T is the worst where I live, thus one of the reasons I’m looking elsewhere.

Has Sprint confirmed that yet? Last I heard, they were testing voice + 4G, but hadn't promised it.

I don’t think they have, but a couple of folks on another forum that are supposedly testing the phone have said that HTC/Sprint have worked out the kinks and the phone will be able to do voice and data at the same time. Since they have been reliable about other info in the past, I tend to believe them. But you have a point, there it is still nothing official as far as I know.

Based on what you see right now do you plan on keeping your htc incredible after the trial period and ditch the iphone? I might do the 14 day trial just to see how service is at my house. Thanks for all your help m8 i appreciate it.

14-day trial is the way to go. I'm still figuring out new, basic things that improved the HTC Incredible user experience (like the fact that tap and hold, rather than double tap, takes a picture). However, I decided on day 2 that I am keeping the Incredible. The iPhone service will be canceled soon, early termination fee paid (prorated, so not very high), and my kids will be using it as an iPod Touch for games, etc.

Part of my reason for switching is that I like to try new things. The iPhone is neatly packaged with everything self-evident. The Incredible has lots to tinker with, customize, and setup. That's all part of the fun for me. I'm no doubt biased by my dislike for Apple's various rejections of software from their app store. We all have our biases, though, and I am in no way anti-Apple. Still love my Macs and will be happy to move back to iPhone if and when they make a phone I like better.

I'm like you but I have already tried android for an extended period. First a unlocked magic on ATT and than a droid Eris running 2.1 on Verizon. At first I loved android but the honeymoon eventually wears off. I'm now back on the iPhone again.

that's a horrible, really subjective review. Like they don't like the screen because it's AMOLED. A better way to review the phone would be to compare the AMOLED to other AMOLED screens. is it the same? better? worse? And they guy says it feels cheap. compared to what?

I'm not getting the Incredible, so I have no interest in defending the product, but the whole page was a waste of my time. I'm writing this here to save others the trouble.

False perception.

I tried the Droid Eris a day before the Incredible came out and it was HORRIBLE! It was so sluggish I wanted to throw it. The screen was responsive, but I almost didn't check out the Incredible because of it. Do yourself a favor and stop by a Verizon store and see for yourself. 1Ghz makes a difference.

Most reviews on anything are biased and a waste of time.

How is the music player for the Incredible? I have never had an android phone, I'm an iphone person, but I am intrigued about trying something new. I played with the Incredible the other day and rather kind of liked it. Does the speaker on the incredible sound good? Is it easy to get your music from itunes onto the incredible? Does it have similar features as the iphone music player? Thanks for the help.

If you are used to iTunes and the iPhone music player, nothing out there will compare. The Incredible has an "acceptable" player. As for syncing, I don't know.

The music player isn't as pretty as the iphone but it works fine. The speaker is loud, louder
Than any phone ive used.Double twist works ok. Itunes is superior. But the current software options for android are not terrible. Just different.

Not for me. I hate my nexus. Bad connections, sluggish, buggy. Can't wait to go back to a polished OS. I'm not speaking about sense ui though.

Went to Android, bought MOTO Droid and HTC Incredible. Now back to iPhone and Blackberry. Blackberry for my work, email and text phone and iPhone for my Data Monster. Android is still not as nice as Apple iPhone. Can't wait for the 4G HD or whatever. Oh forgot, just got a iPad 3G and love it. Syncs to all of my Macs etc.

Since the Incredible only came out a few days ago, that seems like an unbelievably quick tryout. When did you get it ?

You actually believe him? He's just saying that to put down the Incredible. I wont believe until he posts the receipt. Of course he said it doesn't matter if I believe him or not.

Yeah I had the same problem. Went to Sprint today, bought an iPhone 4G HD and geesh! I had to go back to my EVO...I needed something more polished.

Wow .... just spent a while at Verizon looking and playing with the Incredible. While I would never switch to Verizon (and lose my 25%/40% discount :) ) if/when AT&T comes up with a comparable Android device I'll be there in a second.

I sure hope Apple does a lot to improve the next iPhone because afer playing with this device it makes my 3GS feel like last century. It will never surpass the iPhone because of iPhone's kiddie appeal but Apple REALLY needs to do some major updating to whatever comes out next or it will look like a VW Beetle ... same old "cute but boring" thing for a hundred years.

I've been playing with a 2nd gen T-Mobile MyTouch 3G on AT&T and even that relatively outdated device is more interesting than the "sameold" iPhone.
