[Merged] iPhone - White vs. Black (2010 / iPhone 4 Edition)

Fortunately for me I don't care what most people think. If I like something, I'm going to go for it.
Right now I like black slightly better. I think its because of that stupid sensor on the white one...
sigh its starting to grow on me!
after looking at it a bit, since the sensor is centered and well placed, it's that bad if you consider that.
if it was like the 3G/3GS with the sensors off center towards the left side, then that would be a "definitely hell no!" to the white haha
It's girly/unprofessional. Unprofessional moreso than girl but I wouldn't be caught dead pulling out a toy looking white phone to save a contacts information while wearing a suit.
Then what did I just do?
I actually thought the white iPhone 3GS was decent, but there's something unattractive about the white iPhone 4. That odd grill above the earpiece might have something to do with it. Maybe it looks better in person.
And if that contact judges my business prowess on the color of my cellphone I probably don't want to be doing business with them.
4 guys at the office are laywers and they all told me they are pre-ordering white i4's. they wear suits virtually everyday, they don't seem to mind the toy i4

I think a 'phones girly-ness would be better gauged by the apps and songs installed on it.
You know, "don't judge a book by it's covers", and all that.

There are more threads about the whole white/black thing that I'm glad I'm getting the white one now... Who knew that a color of a phone would be the topic of such debate. That is hilarious. Our culture is a funny one.
There was a comment about the Asian countries that look at white as clean and black as the mafia. I found that particularly interesting as well. Humans... we are some opinionated creatures.

Easy for you to say. Look, the black iPhone is simply more professional. Some people like white more, that's cool, but image matters sometimes, no matter your confidence level.
