I think thats the one of the bubbles from the background image.
Retina display is working!

lol yeah could be screen working, there must be a white hair of some sort that just bout matches up with the bubble as it extends over the black non-pixelated are at the bottom of it.

That black non pixilated area doesn't show up as much on a black iPhone but would seem like a secound black border as would show up more on the white one.

I like the look of the white one and the only thing that bothers me is the viewing experiance for me the user. Aint bothered as much about fingerprints as will prob get a leather/felt lined Seana case again for mine which seems to clean it everytime i put my phone back into it's case.

Do people actually watch full-length movies on their iPhone? (not saying this in a snarky way, I'm really curious)

The white front shouldn't be a problem for me. I mostly do web browsing, texting and use some apps. Never really much video watching.

I have a couple of times on long flights, but not often.

Otherwise, there is no way in hell I'd watch a movie on my iPhone over my home theater projector, plasma or MacBook.

Maybe teenagers sit around and watch movies on their iPhones?

When I'm on Amtrak and it is a 2 hour ride

I think i'm getting the black one... unless i find out what the heck that 'grill' looking thing on the white version..

anyone knows what that is?

cause i seriously don't see it on the black one.

It is where the proximity sensors and light sensor is. I hated it at first but started taking a liking to it because it was different.

I think the bumpers look a lot better on the white iPhone.

Apple uses the white to show the various colour options available, im pretty sure they would have compared the too before choosing the white one.

I'm leaning towards getting the white, partially because all of the MP3 players I have gotten in the past, along with my 3G, were all black. White will be a different thing. Of course, I wish there were other colors. I would love a red i4! However, I wouldn't be surprised if I kept changing my mind during the next 39 hours or so. I still haven't even decided on 16GB vs 32GB.

Question of curiosity: What job cares if you have a white iphone??

I don't think you'd get reprimanded or anything for having a white phone, but I think black is the more professional color. Excluding ad agencies and creative companies, people don't usually walk around with white briefcases or flashy ties and the same goes for the phone: keep it subdued and classy.

Yes...but i wish there were some photos of the black iphone with the bumpers...

Having a white phone isn't quite the same as having a white briefcase or flashy tie.

My wife was going to get a white one, until she saw it looks like the Mytouch. She also thinks it being all white it will show dirt and scratches easier. She'll probably get the black one this time around.

I've decided on white too.
Initially was going to go for black, but after seeing the pictures on Engadget, defo going for white.

Not only is white iconic Apple, but it just looks so much more fresher.
Black does look sleek, but put next to a 3GS looks too similar for me.
The white feels newer for me... if that makes sense.

Also, why do people keep saying that white will get dirty??!!
The phone is sandwiched in glass so the white plastic will not get stained or scuff marks? Any on the glass itself I'm sure can easily be cleaned.
