White doesnt go with apple anymore. Especially now that they're using more aluminum and bigger screens. imagine a 27" imac with a white bezel :rolleyes:
 
I was set on the white but now i think i should wait til i see it in person. It reminds me of the first gen Nano. I remember wanting that in black and don't even remember how i ended up with white. I love the white. It's very retro yet modern looking. I'd just have to see the phone in person. Although i want to pre-order. hmmm. Maybe once more videos of the phones comes out, it will be easier to see. The pics just don't cut it.
 
It's funny, when the first white iPhone came out, everyone complained the front looks daft in black. Now they make the front white too and everyone complains again...

I've always had black, but because of the fingerprints, and the fact everyone is getting black, I think I'm going to go for white this time around - I just hope I don't regret it... :rolleyes:

I agree, I will be obsessing over this color choice till I preorder one next week. I was kinda leaning towards a white phone with a black bumper as all my iPhones have been black so far. I wonder what the black or white bumpers look like on the black iPhone. I feel like it might be too much. Argh!!
 
White looks nice! Still a damn hard decision. I'd be worried about the fingermarks on the black even though it looks slightly better.

What sort of cases could we be getting for this? Could also just put one of those clear stick on films over it?

Black or White hmm..

I came to this thread hoping I could be peer pressured into getting one over the other but I am STILL torn apart. Here are the points that I gathered and noticed

White
- Sexy Back
- Less prone to Fingerprints
- Front looks rather toyish
- Front camera and sensor don't look appealing
- White front is TOO distracting when viewing the gorgeous 320dpi screen
- Bold and stands out from the back

Black
- Conventional and not unique
- Fingerprint Magnet (I'll be zagging it anyways)
- Screen pops
- Sensors hidden

I THINK I am leaning a little bit towards the Black. If you guys have more points to add, please feel free!

I'm liking the white one, but maybe that's because I associate white devices with Apple. I'm just a little tired of seeing black iPhones everywhere because that seems to be what the majority of people have.
 
I'm torn. I think both look sleek. I'm leaning towards the black because I have this thing with it looking more professional but the white just stands out. I'd be happy with either.
 
i've had a black 3G and 3GS... but i already made my decision once the front of the white iPhone leaked a few weeks ago.

white all the way :D
 
I think a lot of people are judging the 'white' iPhone 4 based solely on the Apple images which are unfair. They look like mockups on the site and aren't "in the wild" pictures of the actual phone. For example, the black and white is nowhere near that glossy on any 'real' phone in a given situation.

The leaked pictures of the white iPhone 4 show a much more subtle white glass, which doesn't (IMO) make the device look cheapened at all. Whereas when you look at the gallery on Apple.com it does look plastic-y and overly white and cheap. I think hands-on a lot of people will fall in love with the Apple white. Just my .2¢

You must be very self-cautious. I find the white quite stylish and out of the ordinary. With that said, I will be getting the black because I like it just a bit more than the white.
 
I'm getting the black because I'm all MAN baby! And by that I mean my wife said I didn't have a choice because she is getting the white to match her MacBook. :rolleyes:
 
This is the most frustrating choice. I really can't decide. The black is so classy, but the white is something new, yet somewhat toyish. Leaning towards black today :D
 
Going for the black personally. Had a white 3GS 16GB and then traded in to get a black 32GB 3GS and to be fair I did prefer the white look with the 3GS. However, my first impressions with the all white look (front and back) is just that it highlights what is still quite a large bezel. Apple have tried their best to find a default menu background color in grey in iOS 4 to disguise this but to me it fails to do this. Black is the way to go I feel this time around with iPhone 4.
 
Since white was an option, I've always gotten that, 3G and 3GS. But I have to say, I don't think the iP4 looks good in white. I don't like that the front is white now, I think it looks out of place for some reason. I'll be going black for this round.
