My friends are having an Office party on Thursday night! There will be food and DVDs of The Office! I'm thinking of making a stapler-in-jello to bring.

Oh yeah! I think so too! I am loving how Season 3 finale ended with Jan and Michael and Ryan becoming the boss, and Jim asking Pam out and her saying YES, FINALLY! :)

Yes but Jim thinks Karen will get the job (by process of elimination) but she didn't... Ryan did. That will be interesting.

I think the first episode is about when Michael thinks there's a bad jinx over the office or something and he tries to like bring good karma in. :D

gonna have to wait till Friday to watch it with the Mrs., but damn, is it going to be good!

Fact: Bears eat beets... Bears. Beets. Battlestar Gallactica

Gah! Damn you NBC pulling out of iTunes! I won't be able to see this season until the DVDs come out. Damn my lack of time on Thursday nights!

I'm moving on Friday and I'm lucky the cable guy is coming on friday to turn it off. Phew!

On another note. I put a sign on my door like this one. (but I changed Dwight to my name) So far, only one person got it.

What did everyone think about the episode?

I thought it was pretty good. I loved when Michael showed Meredith's face as a person infected with rabies. I wonder if Karen is ever going to come back...

I actually missed the first couple of minutes because our Coldstone was having a college-student night or something and they had all college kids helping out and it took them a little longer to make it. I walked right in when the intro music was playing.

That's too bad, the opening scene was an absolute riot (not quite up there with jim dressing up like dwight, but close!)

I thought it was an almost flawless episode. The one thing that bugged me, for some reason, was the extent to which the "documentary" film crew was involved (i.e. the scene where they show Jim and Pam the video and ask them to comment on it). Granted, we've always had the talking head scenes where it's understood that the characters are talking to the film crew, but this was a little too much for me.

To get ready for the new season I re-watched the first 3 seasons over the last month or so. It really was fun re-watching the early episodes.

Last night's episode was great! For a while I was fooled by the Pam/Jim dating are they/aren't they. The writing really is amazing.

I am not sure if I liked the premier. Don't get me wrong, The Office is my favorite TV show.

I am happy to see Jim and Pam are together, but that takes a ton of the irony out of the show.

Dwight doesn't seem to be as bizarre this season which I miss.

I did think it was funny how Ryan is now all New Yorkerish.

I just find it strange that many of the minor characters from last season have more of a role. Kelly however didn't really say anything the entire show. In the previous season the show was mostly focused on Michael, Dwight, Jim, and Pam.

I think it will be an interesting season.

Okay so tonight's show isn't over yet...but it's already been pretty funny. Best joke so far has been Michael saying he was going to print out new pictures, but the printer was out of ink, then they pan over to Creed with his new dye-job ;)

Oh man! I'm DVRing (is that a word?) it right now. I have to write a paper. I saw about two seconds of it but all I know is that the episode is called "Dunder Miffilin Infinity"

Now I have something to think about tomorrow..."What happened in last night's episode?" Woo!

This is old news. The strike has been over for 10 days now, and shortly thereafter they announced when many shows were coming back.

Scrubs on the otherhand is over, a special Series Finale is being filmed for the final season DVD.

TEG

I can't wait for new episodes, but one of my friends told me that they are only doing 1 or 2 more seasons. Does that have any validity behind it?

Thanks,
ChrisN

I'm excited! The best part about The Office coming back, is that The Office PARTIES are coming back, too! :D
