My update:
Got an email from Apple that my phone is shipping from China. It's on the way with a scheduled delivery of 6/18/2009 via UPS.

I ordered June 13, 2009 and it was prepared for shipping the next day. Ordered directly from Apple.

Why would anyone bother ordering from ATT when you can go right to the manufacturer? That just seems like the smart thing to do.

Except if you tried multiple times to order via Apple and for some reason after you entered your current AT&T account info it kept telling you there was an error and ordering from AT&T was the only option.

The chances of these phones being on Flight 63 is pretty much zero at this point folks. If you have:

"ANCHORAGE, AK, US 06/16/2009 6:52 P.M. DEPARTURE SCAN"

on your tracking info, it's probably not on Flight 63. It's more likely on Flight 81, which was delayed by 2 hours and 28 minutes and left at 6:56PM Alaska time.

Which also means an arrival in KY at 4:49AM EST. So chances of a 6/17 delivery are low no matter where you are.

Me: Puts iPhone 3G in a box to ship out to ebay buyer. Tracks status on iPhone 3GS.

OHH NOOO! you're sooo mean, lol...

Even though that phone gave me problems; I LOVED it soo much! ...well, it's only a matter of time before the new one gets here, *sighs*

Patiently waiting....

Haha, I love the dedication that this thread is bringing out of everyone! :D

I think we all have played Flight Control on our iPhone too much. Today was the day to step up to real planes.. too bad we can't just drag them to the airport like usual.

Flight 81 is still on the ground in ANC. Chances of those phones making it for a delivery tomorrow are dwindling quickly. I have a friend in Anchorage coming to visit me Thursday, maybe I should just see if she will grab it for me when shes at the airport.

:(... how would you know that?!

just got shipping info..

order june 9th at 7:45 pacific

thought it would ship from USA from some big stockpile but nope its coming from China like the rest.

it says re-scheduled delivery date the 18th but im doubting it.

friday will be soon enough!!

Your telling me a 747 can't fly from China to Louisville. I tend to doubt that! Prolly some stuff got on different planes. As you said one plane went to Ontario. I'd have to think that not every single package from Hong Kong was in iPhone

Shipping companies work by employing a hub and spoke system. They wouldn't make any money if they flew direct planes to all destinations. Anchorage is obviously a hub to China and Louisville is the main US hub.
