Dang. NOW what are we supposed to do to keep us occupied until Friday? This thread was keeping me entertained.

Well, I guess the craziness of the "I ordered on the 8th and still don't have a confirmation number!" threads will keep me occupied for a day or two.
 
I told you guys along with about 3 other threads but at least you guys have your iphone in the states mine is still preparing for shipment somewhere in apple's warehouse. I say we all go to the UPS hub and steal those iphones.... Hey it be a sweat dream.

Hahaha! So funny that we spent all this time on this thread just to have a hold placed on it once it got to the US. Oh well, at least it's here and it will get to us on Friday. I'm more than happy to wake up Friday morning to a 3GS at my door!

See you all then.
 
I was only getting stuff about billing information until I checked not long ago. I assume that delivery to the AT&T store will be Thursday afternoon, and then I'll be picking it up on Friday, but it's reassuring to know that it is SO CLOSE!!

My UPS usually doesn't get to my house until around 6 PM. Oh well, I guess I'll be spending that day looking at unboxing pictures on here and jailbreaking my friends 3G and unlocking mine for sale.

I think that the shipping "hold" might make the thread get even more hits... everybody and their mama will be posting that their iphone is on hold, then they'll still be posting that they got it on the 19th, so in essence you'll get like double the posts! Mine will be available at 7am on the 19th at AT&T, so I'm content no matter what.
 
There still might be hope people...

I just HADDD to speak to a rep again (unless she's lying to me) ...according to her; it's a customs hold (this is what they are seeing on their end), because soo many of us have ordered phones coming from the same place, customs are clearing packages slower than normal... So it is still VERY possible that we might get thursday instead of the 17th...She also stated that she has seen 1-2 packages CLEARED already...

I dunno guys......:confused:
 
I suppose I should comment on my order to help along the most posts record.

Ordered a 32GB White on June 8th. Order still says "Prepared for shipment." Maybe it's already in the U.S.A.... Here's hoping.

Both of my friends who ordered 32GB Blacks shipped on the 15th.

Yup...my UPS status just updated with my same 6/17 delivery date. Sheesh. This is an emotional roller coaster....
 
So I was reading through these with the utmost sympathy because the same happened to me. But I decided to check just ONE more time. And now it's back in transit and on time! :D And it's scheduled to be in my arms in less than 24 hours! Cross your fingers and knock on wood guys! This could be it!
 
Game might be back on, kids...

Status on both of my orders went from "Exception" to "In Transit - On Time" with a scheduled delivery date of June 17. Not holding my breath, but fingers are crossed.
 
So, has ANYONE that ordered a 32GB White from Apple.com get a tracking number yet? If so, where did it originate?
 
Mine is back and up with an arrival scan. If all goes well, mine will come in hours since Louisville is just two hours away. Keeping hopes up :p

YAY! But why did the hold say that the receiver requested a hold for future delivery date?? That still makes no sense. It should have said something like, "USA Customs Processing"... Maybe Apple saw that we were all getting depressed that we wouldn't see our iPhones until Friday and decided to be nice and give us what we really want. Our iPhone 3GS in hand a day early!
