I agree, I really think that they shipped them completely at random.

This doesnt add up.. Either they are lying to their reps, which happens all the time.. Or this rep doesnt know what he's talkin about. Only other option is that Apple **** the bed on this release..

I ordered mine on the 12th.. And it shipped and is on its way, in hong kong now..

ughhhhhhhhhh..yes they should've been. chronological order..not some random system where people who ordered 2 days ago are getting theirs before ones like us who ordered june 8th...
 
Am I the only one?

Am I actually the only one who's iPhone has shipped but the tracking number on the UPS site still has a scheduled delivery of June 22nd? I know Apple's order status for a lot of people says this. But as far as I can tell, reading thru most of these pages, I'm the only one see's a June 22nd arrival on the UPS web site.

Mine is 15 minutes away.. and stuck..

15 minutes away from where I'm sitting now and STUCK! DANGIT! :(

call ups and they will be able to tell you when ur package will be delivered. mine is in china right now. but rep from ups said it will be here by 1030 am est on the 19th guaranteed even though it shows on apple that delivery date would be the 23rd.

I'm with you guys. I ordered mine immediately following the Keynote and STILL haven't gotten a tracking number. If I don't get my phone on Friday Apple is going to get an earful from me. The people that jumped right on this thing should be priority, not the other way around.
 
Your all going to be pissed when, after sitting in line for four hours, I will be the first to post with my Brand new 3GS that I got the old fashioned way...

Standing in line at 4 in the morning!!!!

yeah and ones who initially paid for overnight shipping too but then got refunded..but regardless of that, if we paid for more shipping and/or if we jumped right on the ordering..we should be priority or at least in a logical order..

Super-frustrating. Ordered the evening of June 8. Prepared for Shipment (but only as of yesterday.) Of course all of these early shipments could be meaningless if they are held until 6/19 and that is when ours' arrive anyhow. But who knows. Not me.

Nope because I preordered in store and there is a separate line for them at 7am while non preorders wait till 9am (AT&T at least)

So technically I still get mine first =P
 
apple has ran out of iphones for friday

anyone ordering as of right now is out of luck for friday i went though the whole ordering process again to see if they still said delivery by 19th it doesn't it now says orders will deliver in about 2-4 business days which is between friday and tuesday of next week.

Yeah, I forgot to mention I ALSO did this. This was probably already mentioned but my conversation with Apple pointed to this being what hosed our orders. It was explained to me that the shipping fee was refunded however the shipment type is still the same. I guess that means it could still go out as late as tomorrow?
 
receiver requested hold

Does anybody notice it says receiver meaning the person that ordered it requested the hold. Has anybody tried calling UPS and saying I want the hold released and telling them you thought you were gonna be on vacation but are back early? Mine is going to an AT&T store cause I have to port my number and what not or else I would try it. Somebody call them and at least try this.
