ordered on June 9th through Apple and mine still has prepared to ship status. Did two day shipping. Looking forward to this! Should be a huge step up from this LG Flip phone from 2005

I haven't seen a single person from either of our states have a shipment status yet :)

I got the same email just now. dangit! oh well... it would have been nice to get it early, but that's more confirmation my hopes are dashed

I got my shipment email from Apple at 2:45am this morning. Ordered a 32GB White 3G S on June 8th around 9:00pm PDT shipping to Magalia, CA.

Still in China at the first step with an estimated delivery date of June 22. That date had better be wrong, that's all I have to say. It doesn't seem right that my order was delayed so much compared to other orders that came in days later.
 
I have been stuck at this screen for 12 hours. How long did it take others to update past this?

So looking at the iphone forums over on the support page on apples website a couple people that also currently have the "prepared for shipment" status called up apple and both reps said there phones are being shipped from a domestic warehouse and will ship sometime tomorrow. I really hope thats the case cause my status currently says prepared for shipment also.
 
Aha. I predict we will now get a flood of posts about the email that just came from Apple, re-stating delivery will be the 19th, DESPITE what the carrier's website says. (They must be sick of all the calls!)

blah..i ordered mine june 8th, 7:46pm PST shipping to washington dc and mine's still "prepared for shipping"..i ordered a 16gb white 3g s..did you do overnight shipping? i did so maybe that's why mine hasn't shipped yet?? but if it's all coming from china then it should go out now!

I hope this is correct as I'm getting more and more nervous as Friday gets closer.

Ironically I want it to come Friday as it's the only day I'll be home to sign for it, yet I'd just like a little confirmation that I don't have to worry about it missing the window.

hahaha we bugged them enough for them to just finally say 'shipping from a domestic warehouse' .. yay! i hope this is the case for my iphone!!

I'm in CC Philly and my iPhone is one of the ones sitting in Kentucky.

By the way am I the only one getting completely spammed by the Apple Store right now? I've gotten the following email 6 times in the past 10 minutes:

I don't care if they have Steve Jobs personally packing and shipping every iphone 3gs from the basement in his house. If thats what they mean by domestic, then I would be happy. :D

That is very reassuring. I'm in pretty much the same situation as you. Excellent. When I called AT&T the lady didn't seem to know much and just insisted it ships on the 19th. Nice, though.

me 2 ..so we ATT preorderers will get the Iphone 3GS at the same time as the apple ones lol:)
