My ship-to-store order has been stalled in DFW for a while with no sign of movement.
I got two of those emails as well. I checked my inbox and was like oh maybe they started to ship from KY. I look at the link and I go OH WOW YOU'RE BEHIND APPLE!
Ordered on the 8th, shipment notification came today, says it will be delivered by the 23rd, but I have not received the "rest assured" email. Shipping to Illinois 
My tracking info still shows it in Hong Kong. I am not going to be a happy camper if it doesn't arrive on time. They already set me up with the wrong area code, so if it doesn't make it on time, that will just be the icing on botching my first Apple experience.

The holds are gone...again
Delivery shows 6/17...again
But package still shows that it is in KY.
So I called UPS and the very nice lady told me that it is being delivered on 6/19 guaranteed no later than 10:30am and that she was sorry for the incorrect info on the website.
I'm done checking UPS...just going to make sure I'm around Friday morning.

He was talking about a tracking #. I made the same assumption as you a few hundred posts ago.
I wasn't aware we even had an option to change the shipping method, I didn't see it when I ordered. There should be no question if they tell us it delivers June 19th though.
Since all of the AT&T in store pre-order phones have now been sent to KY, I'm wondering if they will get the same hold from Apple, or if they will be continuing on their way to the stores today. As of right now, mine shows a delivery date of 6/18. What do you guys think? I was planning on picking mine up at 7am, but now am wondering due to all the other phones that are set for shipment are being held. Hopefully that hold only applies to the lot that came through Apples order system.

THANK GOD! the apple shipping email i got said 23rd...i dont believe that for a second. It'll be here on the 19th.
mine has yet to ship... I called earlier and they said it still looks like it's arriving on Friday. How is that even possible?

okay so if there is another batch of iphones on a plane from hong kong right now..i'm going to guess that all other iphones that have the status "prepared for shipping" are coming from domestic hubs..unless there's another plane going out of hong kong tonight or early tomorrow morning...
