Off topic: Anybody else's MR page not displaying correctly? All screen names are whited out and there's a big white void at the bottom of my screen that has eaten all but a sliver of the "Reply" button. All but that sliver is unclickable.

Apple on June 8th in the early evening PST. Just got the email a few minutes ago.
I hear you. I do. And I hope you're right. Just been frustrating watching all of the progress and seeing little-to-none on mine.
Any still in "Prepared to ship" who ordered before the 15th?

I've been watching this thread, and I have to admit I feel kinda bad for all the CSR's at APPLE and UPS with all the calls they've gotten. People are calling 3 and 4 times a day. I bet they wish they had better info too. It occurs to me that they probably hate their jobs right now and will be as happy as we are when the phones are delivered. Then, the support phones can start ringing.
One of my iphones just shipped, still waiting on another to ship to the same adress. Atleast my wife will have her's for sure tomorrow.
sounds like they are going backwards in fulfilling orders...there is still hope for me!
The flight left anchorage and landed in KY at 1:12.. We just havent been updated yet. We were on that flight.
Victory! Mine (ordered 8 June) is shipping. It's being overnighted from Memphis, TN to Massachusetts. I was getting nervous
The magic of overnight shipping is that it only takes one day to ship. Yes, my order is still "prepared to ship." There are lots of people still in that mode. Our phones are shipping from inside the U.S. which is why few have seen any tracking action yet. Now, if, at 2AM your phone is still "prepared to ship" then you can start up those sweat glands. Until then assume you'll have your phone tomorrow.
I think Steve Jobs devised this whole shipping scheme to amuse himself. He is probably having unlimited laughs reading "UPS shows my phone will be here tomorrow... What happened there is a hold on my phone.... Hold off... back on." All the while knowing no phone will be delivered until he says it will be delivered, which, of course, he already said... June 19, but no one wants to listen. Wow. That's a switch, no one listening to SJ, and he wasn't even BSing this time.
Just out of curiosity, what was the reason you all just didn't reserve one in the store? Seems like its a lot easier and less hassle. I will stroll in tomorrow whenever I feel like it and pick up my two phones.
It will be easy to get them in the stores too. I got my 2g on launch, I walked in to the busiest apple store around(delaware, no tax) about 6:30, 30mins after the doors opened to sell them, and walked right up and bought two from the tower of thousands of them they had.
