I should have never ordered from an AT&T store. I went there Saturday the 13th to preorder and was told about the 7-14 days. He said it would be that way anywhere I ordered it. I shouldn't have listened to him. So I preordered through AT&T. After hearing about Apple still guaranteeing delivery on the 19th, I tried to cancel my order through AT&T. Was told numerous times by numerous AT&T people, I couldn't until the phone arrived in the store. So now I'm stuck waiting.

Did anyone else order on or after the 13th? I'm hoping they are faster than they say, but I doubt it. Sucks.

This is what happened to me in a different way. Went to order on the 8th and was told by an AT&T store that they aren't taking pre-orderes even though I proved otherwise and then they proceeded to tell me that it is the same at other stores. It sounded sketchy so I listened for about 4 hours before calling the other 4 in the 3 mile radius by my house. First one I called, they said they aren't taking pre-orders. I asked them to check and they changed their answer to yes. A block apart and the attitude in each of them are completely different.

Hey, that's a brilliant idea! I'm going to get in my time machine, go back a few weeks and visit Steve. I'll let him know to stagger the releases like you say--by, oh, let's say two days. Should be implemented by the time you read this. Well actually -- time machine -- before you even wrote that comment. :p
 
Please explain

I ordered early AM June 9 from AT&T, earlier it didn't say backordered just gave shipment date and said FDE, with no tracking number. Now it says the same, but says 1 back-ordered. WTF. Please explain. Thanks

Apparently everyone that orderd on the Premiere side will get this. From what I've hard the Premiere site is the last to update, but that everyone will get their phones on the 19th. The people that ordered their phones last monday will be shipped out earliest, the 9th and 10th next, the 11th or there abouts last... but apparently they will time them so everyone gets them on the 19th


which I highly doubt.

Order from Apple website for HOME DELIVERY
 
Well, still not even "Prepared for Shipment" from the Apple Store, but I have priority shipping now! I have a good feeling now :) ...unless Apple doesn't deliver by Friday. I'll flip a ****.

Someone on here said that Apple.com is still saying they will deliver by the 19th as long as you order by the 17th. If you can have it shipped directly to you, I would go with that and verify the delivery date when you order.

I am in the same situation. I ordered on June 8th from Apple Online (upgrade) -- it says "Has Not Shipped" then on June 9th I added another line to my account via ATT Wireless Online -- says the same thing as yours currently.
