meaning even if it did ship they will hold it till 1.5days before the 19th to ship it to everyone just so it arrives june 19th. But some might be lucky and get theirs a few days early.

I ordered on the 9th from Apple.com and it's in Prepared for Shipment status. It's been that way since this morning.
Yep. I ordered at an AT&T store on 6/12 around 1pm PST, via premier website (i.e. salesrep placed the order for me using my company's FAN number), with shipment to the AT&T store for Friday pickup.
My tracking # just showed up on the order status website!!!
Ship date shows 6/15, but tracking info isn't available on UPS' site yet.
Read that article further down and it says:

I ordered a 32GB black at about 12:30 on the 8th from the Apple online store, and it's still not shipped. I called Apple because it still says it will ship on the 19th and arrive on the 22nd, and they said they'll do everything they can to get it to me by the 22nd - not what I'd expected. Then I waited on hold to be transferred to the iPhone group until my 2 and a half year old KRZR died on me, so I don't know what the reason is.
Not too worried about it though, I'm just glad to get rid of this piece of junk KRZR.

Mine says the same exact thing. I called Apple yesterday. The lady said she didn't even know that Apple was advertising June 19th delivery on their website! I had to tell her where to look on the Apple website. In the end, she couldn't guarantee a June 19th delivery and said expect it on June 22.
