I was doubting UPS would deliver at first and my ship date changed to the 22nd.Then I changed my attitude and decided it had to come tomorrow, the ship date changed back and I guess I took this guy's place.....so yes, like me.

The shipping issue seems to be inconsistent among customers and kinda chaotic. I wonder if Macrumors could contact Apple and help us get a statement from Apple.

1AM in china today is really 1pm yesterday here in the states. So that's 2 days to get here, It will be at your UPS facility on the 17th. The question is whether they will hold it until the 19th. and I'm betting not.

JK thats great if true. Apparently mine is still somewhere between CN & AK (via UPS) so who knows. Est. date is 6/17.
I do remember, a few days ago att disabled my data plan for my 1st generation iphone, so I had to call them up to re-enable it. But no other problems since then.
UPS HAS IT NOW, it is out of Apple's hands!
If they say
"Your package is on time with a scheduled delivery date of 06/17/2009."
They will do everything in their power to get it on that date! Most drivers won't even know they iPhone's release date. If this is what is in their system, this is what they are shooting for. Apple can't do anything to prevent it from getting to your door on the 17th now!

Actually, when I ordered mine the Thank You page that came up says:
"Estimated ship: Delivers by June 19th"
Not ON June 19th but BY.

Whats killing me right now is that I will be out of town all week on business so to avoid a phone sitting on my porch all week I arranged to have it shipped to a co-worker who would bring it to me on Tuesday. Now my delivery date says it will arrive on 6/17, I could have just shipped it to the house afterall. I might be making a special trip 45 minutes to his house Wednesday night.

it doesn't matter. sheesh. you'll get it when you get it. i really wish people would stop worrying about it. it is just a phone. life goes on. go outside and do something constructive. enjoy life a little. Complaining here doesn't help at all. If you have a problem call Apple, call ATT and talk to someone who can help you. We can't help you here.
I ordered an iPod Touch as a gift in April and it went from Kunshan China --> Anchorage Alaska --> Indianapolis Indiana --> my door in around 22 hours.
We're behind, so it actually took about 33-34 hours

porting numbers - delay??
i know that everyone is freaking out about some of their orders having the "shipped" status and some of us [like me] who ordered on june 8th still have the "not yet shipped" status..
but my question is..since i'm porting from verizon..is that maybe why it's causing the delay? and if there was a problem in porting, wouldn't they have contacted me by now? i'm anxious and just want to know if everything has gone through or not..thanks!!

Order a 32GB (Black) on the 11th and nothing yet. That was one common them I was seeing in that most people here who have shipping info ordered teh 16GB model.

This is awesome! What time does your UPS guy usually get there? Mine usually comes between 11.00am and 12:30am. Although I once got a package at 8:30pm, which sucked.
