yeah, mine was up on my account for about 3 days.

my guess is this: a hold is placed on your account for about 3 days and the bank or whatever verifies the charge and if it isn't verified or if the transaction from the supplier doesn't go through, then it drops.

in this case, apple only charges your card/account when it ships..and since i ordered mine june 8th, it obviously wasn't going to ship out june 11th so that's probably why the charge got dropped. now i'm just wondering when they're going to actually charge it again.

i'll give them a call this afternoon when i get back from lunch..

i just checked my credit card statement too and the hold on my card is dropped and there is no charge or anything that relates to the apple store..should i call/be worried??

In the same boat here, "not yet shipped hold on CC dropped" don't worry you'll get it like I will on the 19th same as everyone else.

A couple of years ago I remember Apple told FedEx to hold deliveries already on the truck until later in the day so deliveries would not get there before the Apple store started selling them

I ordered a Black iPhone 16GB @ 2 AM eastern, Friday (12th) through the Premier site and for some reason my order says its on backorder. I was under the impression that if I ordered before Saturday, that I would be able to get it this Friday. I have no idea when I will get it now.

I think it's REALLY REALLY crappy from ATT, if people that preordered from Apple get their phones way ahead of people that preorded them from ATT days before.

It seems like ATT is really dropping the ball on this.

Have ANY ATT orders come with a delivery date yet? Or is it all Apple people?

I can't believe people are surprised about AT&T messing up, its not like they didn't do it last year. I'd never order with them unless it was cheaper or something.

I ordered the 3Gs on the 8th at 2:08pm ... Apple upgraded me to priority shipping for free, but when I check the status it still says "Not yet shipped" ...

I called Apple to ask about this and they told me that it will get to me by the 19th like they promised ... I guess I have to wait and see

I called as well and got the same answer. I guess we will see, but I have faith in apple.

although i ordered from apple, i'm gonna have to say, at&t sucks in general..they're horrible with processing and customer service, etc. i wish they would just kick it up a notch and be like verizon and provide better service. it'd make everyone happier and they would get less complaints and have less people to deal with..

in any case, sorry you're dealing with the crappyness of at&t and their inability to process orders..i hope yours goes through soon [my apple.com store order is still 'not yet shipped' and i ordered on june 8th..hope that makes you feel a little better]

Thanks for posting your screen shot. I'm in the same boat. Ordered on the 8th at 12:25pm and I'm showing "Not Yet Shipped," upgraded shipping, and shipping on 6/19 for delivery on 6/22. I was starting to worry because I have a second order for my wife's phone that was placed 15 minutes later and has already shipped with delivery scheduled for tomorrow. Seeing that yours shows something similar, but that the Apple rep assured you of the correct delivery date makes me feel a little more confident that I'm still going to see mine on 6/19.

I am sure that all the phones are not coming from China. I am sure that a lot of phones are coming from somewhere in the states. I ordered an hour after they became available, from Apple. My status is not shipped but is priority. Fedex priority is next business day. I am in Chicago, so if they ship my phone thursday, I would get it Friday. Only weird thing is they have not charged my card the full amount, only $1

Well, I ordered from Apple and still have the "Not Yet Shipped" status. I think there are people on both sides that still haven't gotten any shipping status changes. Thats fine, because Apple will make sure they all get out. Almost everyone will have them on Friday.

This is the first time I've gotten an iphone so I'm not aware of what happened last year.

Um this thread has to do with anyone with tracking.. even in-store pick up AT&T customers got tracking so go mind your own business..

Complaining here doesn't help at all. If you have a problem call Apple, call ATT and talk to someone who can help you. We can't help you here.

I ordered mine Wed Night..Order status changed from "Standard" to "Priority".
So I just got off the phone with Apple...
The dude was nice told me according to their records I will get it By the 19th. He said I should see progress on the package soon. I told him i knew people who ordered it after me..and they got a shipping notice..he told me every case is different and there is nothing in his system saying i wouldnt get it by the 19th. From the sounds of the guy apples not too strict on the RD..like as long as its after 3.0 comes out its all good..as long as i get it by fri im but anytime after that ill be ..I sold my G1 to a co worker and told her she could have it for the weekend..Common apple
