Mine is totally moving. Just got a new line added

CHEK LAP KOK,
HK 06/16/2009 11:14 P.M. ORIGIN SCAN

Sweet. Here's for hoping it really does show up tomorrow like it says. I'd be shocked.

Edit: err.. wow. so many others posting the same thing. Ok then. Clearly I don't nee to do the same lol

can someone please tell me why anyone would ever order anything ever from ATT instead of Apple? AT&T sucks! i thought we all knew this.

how long is a flight from HK to the US? Anyone know where they are shipping it too next? This could be fun tracking it. I wish we could track it live, with some type of system that allows us to view the flight path, haha.

Ordered: Jun 9, 2009 at 11:34 AM PT, IPHONE 3G S BLACK 32GB at Apple.com

A new line's just been added to my package progress --

I won! I was the first to report the phones are leaving China from Hong Kong!

Like the previous couple of posters, my package has moved from China to Hong Kong as well.

32GB black 3GS, ordered a couple of hours after the keynote on June 8.

The time zone shift from mainland China to HK makes it look as though my iPhone has traveled back in time. Maybe it comes with a flux capacitor and a 1.21 gigawatt power supply? :D :D :D

Put my order in through ATT premier last Friday evening. It still says "We have received your order request, and we expect to begin processing it shortly."

They have a rather loose definition of "shortly."

So, anyway. Just thought I'd vent with everyone else. The worst part is, I'm going to have to call customer service, and I am just dreading that.

I put my order in through the Premier site as well. The order status page they tell you to go to is USELESS.

You should use https://www.wireless.att.com/order_status/
Search method: Wireless Number and use Billing Zip code to get the information. If you do not use the wireless number with billing zip code, nothing will show up. Good luck!

haha...looks like we are all on the same plane together....we should create a thread just for our plane.

What should we name the plane?

Our iphones must be touching because mine also has moved!

Mine shipped today with a delivery date of tomorrow! The email I received from Apple last night said "delivers by June 22." Weird.

FYI: CHEK LAP KOK, HK

It's the airport! I guess they're getting ready to leave. Is it possible to even get them tomorrow then?

I have a theory on why the AT&T phones are not tracking yet. THOSE phones are in bigger boxes that contain many phones heading with (or even ahead of) the Apple phones to a central site in the US. Once Apple told them the tracking number for THEIR big boxes they started printing the labels for distribution from whereever they are sending them from.

It will not surprise me at all that when our numbers start tracking it will not be from China.

I have a feeling they are assigning store tracking numbers to customers.. and we all have boxes on pallets and/or in larger boxes. So technically we are getting 'Freight' tracking numbers that are going to the store.

you could be right, which would lead into my comment earlier that this is just showing us it's coming. Locations will receive it, then send it out thusrday.
