I ordered my phone on the 9th from Apple and its listed as not shipped yet. I paid more for the two day shipping. I am betting that if you picked ground shipping you are more likely to get it early as there is less control in ground shipping than 2 day.

In-store pickup has nothing to do with this thread.
I'm tempted to start a new order this morning with overnight shipping and see if it gets prepared before my order I placed on the 9th.

I forgot we were talking about AT&T orders as well. My mistake.
**** off, I was referring to Apple reservations, forgot that AT&T had the in-store option.
Sorry for jumping on you but you are 10th person to jump on top of people who are questioning their tracking numbers from an in-store ATT reservation (those are done through direct fulfillment)
Its just really agitating because its like shutting those people out for no reason.
Sure, My 32GB Black is currently in UPS's hands and on it's way to da cutt (CT). I ordered from Apple.com.
Put my order in through ATT premier last Friday evening. It still says "We have received your order request, and we expect to begin processing it shortly."
They have a rather loose definition of "shortly."
So, anyway. Just thought I'd vent with everyone else. The worst part is, I'm going to have to call customer service, and I am just dreading that.

Same here. I know this comment doesn't add much to the entire conversation, but I think it's nice to know there are other people in the same boat.
Just spoke to an apple rep. He stated that the amount of my purchase was authorized on the day that I placed the purchase. He also stated that the amount was "settled" with the bank on the date that the phone was shipped, which he said appears to be today. My bank's website does not reflect this.
Called the bank, and they stated that the amount for the purchase was placed on hold, and expired a day later. The bank also stated that the amount has not re-appeared on my account. Point being that the purchase amount will pop up soon, whether it is today or tomorrow. I hope this helps everyone out that made the purchase through the apple store and is in the same boat. I wouldn't want anyone to feel the effects of an overdraft charge/hassle of correcting one's check book.
Ugh last night before bed my tracking showed a scheduled delivery for 06/17 and this morning it changed to 06/18. How annoying!

Have you checked your status through http://wireless.att.com/order_status? It at least shows what you've ordered.
I have a theory on why the AT&T phones are not tracking yet. THOSE phones are in bigger boxes that contain many phones heading with (or even ahead of) the Apple phones to a central site in the US. Once Apple told them the tracking number for THEIR big boxes they started printing the labels for distribution from whereever they are sending them from.
It will not surprise me at all that when our numbers start tracking it will not be from China.
