AT&T Premier Store...

...so I gave up. Canceled my Premier order and re-placed the order on Apple.com . I'll walk in the store to apply the FAN discount to my plane.

//anxiously awaiting his first iPhone to replace the 8525 he's sporting now...

Same with me.

Although I did get a call from Apple today (after I responded to an email asking me if my call to check my status was acceptable) and they assure me of Friday.

I ordered 1 hour after the keynote.

It depends on where you are from the hub and how well you know the delivery driver. In my case, he is on my Christmas list...:cool:

Even on a No Signature delivery, he waits for me to answer the door. He knows that I am home if he hears the dogs barking when he rings the bell.:D

My tracking number says my iPhone left Hong Kong at 7:49pm on the 16th like a lot of other people here, but on the UPS tracking site there is no scheduled delivery date listed... Is this happening to anyone else?
 
Order Status

I ordered a few hours after WWDC was over on Apple.com and my order status still says "Prepared for Shipment" :(

Seems like more people that ordered from ATT's site as opposed to Apple.com are getting tracking numbers.

Same, only mine is going to Upstate NY. Ours are on the same plane. =P
 
Premier order, rep saying that phone will be shipped 19th, but got backordered mail

Ok its confusing now, i called AT&T to cancel my premier order and thought of ordering it on Apple.com site, but the rep is saying that my phone is ready to be shipped on 19th and will get the phone on tuesday.

I dont know which one to believe, the back ordered mail i got today or the rep :confused:

Anyway decided to wait until tuesday and cancel the Premier order if i dont any hear anything by tuesday,

Thank you for this. I was tempted to cancel just based on the lack of information. I would at least like AT&T to post something about what backordered means. When I think back-ordered I think that its going to take 2-3 weeks to get something.
 
Which fedex truck, purple/green or purple/orange? If the express I could get it early, otherwise a crapshoot just when it'll arrive.
