How do you even know that is the correct flight??

We better quite down in here...the FBI might be on to us thinking we're terrorists or something.

We don't but its the only registered flight operated by UPS from Hong Kong to anywhere in the US so its a good bet, and the departure scan/departure time match fairly well especially given the 40 min delay.

With a lot of other Apple releases they ship over a big parcel full of iPhones, Macbooks, iPods or whatever... then they goto a FedEx facility and get broken down and distributed from there around the country.
Sorry but this is a direct to customer shipment that's why each of us has an individual Tracking number with a scheduled Delivery Date.

This Time UPS gets the credit for the "Early Delivery"....:D

Dave

Hopefully they unload us west-coasters in Alaska and send ours in to LA or SF
They can't clear customs in AK, they have to go to Worldport first, sorry but that is why the delivery dates for the west zones are for the 18th instead of the 17th, it takes another hop to get to you this way.

Dave

**BREAKING NEWS**

Hundreds of thousands of iPhones spotted floating in the waters of the Northern Pacific, no sign of Big Brown!!

Maybe they pushed em out the unloading bay a little to early, who knows!

It should be at our houses at the 18th. No earlier.

Why?

Because (This is all in Eastern Standard Time):

It is 5:25 now, that means it should land in AK around 5:35. Then it takes off around 8:00 (PM). Arrives in Kentucky around 6:00 AM (Make it 5:30 if you really want to prove that you can get it tomorrow)

Then it will go to your regional hubs, arrive around 6:30 (At the earliest).

Then from the regional hubs, it goes to your local hub (Arrive around 8- EARLIEST). That is to say it will arrive at your local hub if there's no waiting time in between Kentucky, and your regional hub, and no waiting time between your regional hub and your local hub, and no waiting time to get it on the truck.

I'm going to go with y'all getting it on the 18th, No matter how much I want it tomorrow

For those with UPS knowledge....

Do they actually scan the packages in AK? Or will we not even see any more scans on our tracking number until they get to KY?

You should see a scan in Alaska. (Unless they're taking the same plane back into the U.S, then you won't).

If they take a different plane, then you will see a scan for the package leaving the current plane, and entering the second plane. (Origin, and Departure scans on your trackers)

Alaska to Kentucky doesn't take 10 hours...5 at the most!
We can very possibly see deliveries tomorrow depending on your location.

Some hill-billy who doesn't even give a sh*t is gunna have his iPhone first, while we are on these forums just itching to see that delivery guy roll down our driveway (On the 19th)!
