I never expected to get it before the 19th, despite the tracking number stating otherwise. If you guys think it's impossible for Apple to work it out so phones don't get delivered til the 19th, then you may find yourself a little disappointed when you don't see them tomorrow or Thursday. It would be awesome if some leaked through, but I'm willing to bet it won't be a majority of them.
Some are already here in the US and in the hands of reviewers! More are in AK waiting to depart to the UPS Hub in KY.

Failure to pass customs for all phones due lack of triplicate copies of proper FCC paperwork, forcing the phones back to China in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...

Why does it not surprise me that someone who would go through all of this trouble to track UPS flights would also have exchanged their phone 10 times?

Yea, we won't go there. It was AT&T's fault 4 times, and then Apple's twice.

Its a long story and I don't want to go through it.

And btw, this took me 5 minutes. I just thought I would help. If you don't like it or need it, then I don't think you need to point out my replacements or anything else.

Thanks!

I wasted my entire work day following this thread and it has been a fun ride. Still don't have my gd tracking number yet!

im with you too. We will probably be on the next flight out tomorrow most likely. It's 7:20 in the morning tomorrow in china. What time did the other flights leave today?

I think apple will hold them until the 19th. My expected delivery of the 17th disappeared.

Yes, let's all use flightaware to track flights which a phone may or may not be onboard when more than half of the distance is probably outside of the coverage area anyway. Brilliant.

Thank you, I'm not an idiot. What I'm saying is that nobody has any idea if these phones are going to be held somewhere (either Alaska, Kentucky, or any other place). Yeah, it may be true that some people called UPS and asked about holds and got answers saying there were no holds, but I can tell you from numerous past experiences that UPS phone reps do not always give the most accurate information.

I'm not trying to rain on the party. I'm just saying--Don't be shocked if your phone doesn't come til the 19th.
