To the california kids waiting for the UPS Plane from Alaska.

I think the UPS plane to California (Ontario) is UPS65

So all you kids can track that stuff on flightaware.

Look! Its midflight as we speak!

LoL

I wonder if I canceled my order from ATT right now, and then ordered from apple (I'm an upgrade) I'd be eligible for an upgrade at apple and could order for them.

Thoughts?

I think you still could.
Go on Apple's site and chat with a rep first to be sure-- I ordered my second phone this morning and I am still getting it on Friday. Give it a shot, but be sure you have a rep's word first.

Sorry, conmango but UPS 065 originated in South Korea and will not be carrying any iPhones. Thanks for playing and keep watching the thread for updates on the real action in Worldport, the worldwide air hub for UPS (United Parcel Service) located at the Louisville International Airport in Louisville, Kentucky.

I sure hope my iPhone didn't end up back in Shenzhen.

It says it's being shipped Express, "In Transit - On Time" and should get here (Utah) on 6/18...

I ordered mine the 12th and it doesn't say backordered here, my recent photo I just check my status 45 seconds ago.

That's me too. I'm thinking/hoping that it just means we aren't getting the "Shipping from China" notices and instead, we'll get something when the phones actually get in the states and ship to us. Tracking numbers on Thursday, if they ship overnight.

I had mine shipped to my house, not to a store...

Now it says that flight #81 is a Boeing 747-400. I googled this aircraft and in its basic cargo mode it has a cargo capacity of 412,770kg. If we assume that each iPhone plus its packaging averages 1kg, then it is easy math to see how many iPhones this craft is carrying. Assuming of course that the cargo is limited to nothing but iphones.

I have learned more about the shipping process here than i could have anywhere else! I refuse to check my tracking number until tomorrow, than i can either get excited or realize that my phone isn't going to be here till friday. I'm tracking my case and phone and hoping they can come on the same day!!!

Yep, I'm in the same boat... wondering why I haven't been charged. Not being charged would be fine by me though. ;)

Is it just me or

Does anybody else think of a whole room full of Apple exec and Employees sitting around reading this and other threads and just laughing asses off as we try to second guess both Apple and UPS ;) Steve Jobs might even be a Mole. hmmmmm

Maybe that is Apple's way of making up for AT&T charging so much for current customers? :) Nah, it usually takes several days for my iTunes purchases to be charged so maybe they're handling the iPhone orders with the same system.

Don't think anyone will get off that easy...:D

A boy can dream, right?

Yeah probably. Ordered from AT&T though, so idk... wasn't like this last year with Direct Fulfillment, but w/e.
