So maybe it's nothing, but when I check the status of mine (ordered for AT&T store pickup) the only item listed on the tracking now is called "Freight." When I used to check the status (and was still listed as in progress) it would list two items ; one was the phone and the other was freight... anyone else noticed this? I'm hoping this doesn't mean anything...

Did you order through whatever Premiere is? Seems people from that category are getting backordered.
My iPhone better ship tomorrow (wednesday) or im gonna start to panic. They cant ship on thrursday and expect it to get here friday.
I certainly wouldnt be proud of that.

Yesterday... I have called them twice and they promise that my phone is spoken for and will be shipped overnight from Fort Worth, TX late Thursday afternoon. I don't know if I buy it
chill dude. i've ordered thursday afternoon and its been on a plane that night from china and delivered the next day. or was i drinking a lot of tequila...i'm not sure. but apple can be amazing about its delivery times.
I can see overnighting from some warehouse already i the US but going from China to Alaska to all these other main hub cities in one night and then ship to my house?

Go to the iPhone forums and click the diff columns on the right (views, replys, etc.) It then sorts the amount of each from highest to lowest. Then to see top posters in the forum, just click on the ACTUAL # of replies... such as 2,5xx
mine says backordered...Basically ATT lied to me (us) ..I called and asked before placing the online order about when will I get the Iphone and I was told Friday !!! NEVER AGAIN !!

And why are we all getting diarrhea cramps over a phone? Dont get me wrong i am too. But u can sense the tension in this thread.
They told me that it is actually backordered in the system because the product isn't in stock, as their warehouse won't get them until Thursday.... if they lied, it should be free!!!
