This isn't a court of law, and nobody has to prove anything, sources or not

This is the court of public opinion, and right or wrong, it sometimes carries far more weight

Yes, it is public opinion. But if you can't back up your opinion with some measure of fact, then you are just another person in this world without something meaningful to say and a worthless opinion.

I live in Westwood and around a 15 minute walk from UCLA, so I decided to take a walk last night to see the scene.

It was really weird- a big group of people singing and dancing to Jackson's music. It was a big party. People were selling t-shirts already. There was a guy in a pickup truck selling hot dogs, chips, and soda. News crews interviewing everybody. I even saw CTV there, which is a Canadian broadcaster.
Did you see anyone mourning? I watched hundreds of crowd scenes on CNN yesterday but I didn't see a single person crying. The mood ranged from neutral to celebratory. Some were dancing and singing, others were just like "Yeah, it's so sad that he died. Oops, look at the time, gotta split". It all seemed kind of weird... I was expecting JFK assassination type mass sobbing, at least among the fans.

Wow, do you honestly believe that "proof please" is a relevant card to play in this particular case? Wow.

Stop it, as noted many times in this tread, we know that.

We just don't believe it to be the truth.

well you have no proof to back up your claims, and your just being disrespectful

TO FANS!!!!

i recorded some audio clips from his star when we all sang, trying to upload them but the iphone is being nice(format and all)

Yes. In the world I live in proof actually means something.

im not going to let your skewered view of reality cast a negative life on this great mans life and his mourning and celebrating his life.
Right, because we all know Michael Jackson's reality was the right one and everything else is "skewered". We're the delusional ones.

Please, you and your mangled language carry on celebrating his life, he was, after all, designed for people like you.

I'll carry on over here, providing balance and a hedge against hysteria.

Maybe, but in the world Michael Jackson lived in, proof and truth meant nothing. He lied about everything and so do his family and his entourage. He lied about vitiligo, he lied about plastic surgery. What was that he said to Oprah, "I've done it once. No... twice". Right, and I'm Donald Duck.

Yes it is true he lied about plastic surgery. I wouldn't go as far a to say truth meant nothing to him though. I wouldn't know that. Everybody lies to themselves one way or another in this world. Michael is not alone in self denial. If he isn't allowed to be forgiven for lying to himself, no one in this world is allowed forgiveness for any transgression.

they all are, the true michael is the one who made the music, not the one he got false allegations thrown against him.

False allegations of plastic surgery? I don;t follow your argument.

You may inhabit Planet Michael, but those of us on Earth saw the man for what he was, gifted and a stunning showman, but also delusional and dangerous with a criminal disregard for law and order and the rights of others, particularly male minors.

If you had enough money, would you not make anything go away if you were annoyed? Also, get your facts straight if you're going to slander. It's $10 million.

Then when he decides to fight another accusation to clear his name and wins, you won't accept it. There is no winning with you. You will believe what you want with or without evidence.

I don't care if I had all the money in the world. If someone was making such a claim against me, I would not pay them off. I would go to court, prove my innocense and save my reputation. The fact he paid someone off like that is good proof that he's guilty. The innocent don't pay hush money.

he had a different way of expressing his love, yes, but he never molested anyone.
The internet predators Dateline picks up on their undercover investigations may not have ever molested anyone and may just be expressing their love for a young, underage girl in a different way, but it doesn't change the fact that they're sick ****s who need to spend some time behind bars.
