The only problem with Microsoft is they just have no taste. They have absolutely no taste. - Steve was right, as usual

Shouldn't you only mouth off when you have a superior product? WP8 is not superior to iOS. And if it wasn't for Nokia they wouldn't even be on the radar.

How low can you go MS.

On what grounds do you say that? I moved from IOS to Windows and it's a much better experience. It's also ironic how Apple go on about the beauty and build quality of the 5C. Might I advise people to look at the Lumia 820 ... It's significantly better quality than any apple phone IMO.

As for MS not being on the radar, I don't seem to recal apple ever owning their own manufacturing division ... Something that can now be said for MS.

This isn't a troll posting, I just can't stand it when people call another product when they haven't even tried it ... and come to a conclusion, even if it's one others might not like!

Apple isn't innocent either. They also attack Microsoft and don't have the best business practices.

Many of those 'bad' business practices are totally legal just some folks wish they didn't do them (like the whole tax thing), or they are things not totally in Apple's control. Or even just Apple.

Not to mention Apple often isn't the only one. Wanna bash them for having an MFN on ebooks, Amazon has being doing it for years and even Cote said they are legal.

Wanna bash Apple's tax practices. All totally legal and same ones every company uses.

Wanna talk about what's up at Foxconn. Around 75 other companies also use them and have the same conditions but they aren't called out over it.

Wanna talk smack about the price and quality of movies and TV shows in iTunes, Apple doesn't have control over that stuff. The studios do. So it's them not Apple shafting us when we want to buy something.

Wow. Another MS bashing article. MR really knows how to get folks frothing. :D.

Page hits down this week?

All of this arguing over whether the ad was tasteless of not, not no one is disputing the real message of these videos...

Go through the Nokia 920 thread that came up recently, and look at all the attempts to bash it based on the fact that no one cares about camera quality on a phone. "If they want to take real pictures, they'll use a DSLR". As for the rest, I do agree with you. I myself have said that having a nice camera on my smartphone is a great thing to have, but wouldn't be THE deciding feature between one phone and another unless all things were otherwise equal.

Well then they're wrong, and you're right to call them out on it. So it actually looks like we're in complete agreement here! :p

OK - so we'll have this scene in a boardroom with this try-hard stupid girl and this 'smart-guy' who resembles Jony Ive - we'll have them sarcastically bragging about their plastic and gold phones, that they can charge whatever they want because their customers are stupid - oh and they can be bragging to their dead ex CEO! Find someone who looks like Steve Jobs from behind - yeah, a sick Jobs, cancer Jobs.. hahahaha... yeah totally throw in an iwatch reference! Man this ad is gonna be great..

Terrible!

See what I mean? The Droidiots and Apple haters have no idea how to respond to the 5C and 5S.
They can't. Hardware specs, build quality, iOS 7 advances, and now a Samsung-killing 5C price.
It used to be that the best defense was a good offense. Now the Droidiots' best defense is to shut up.

Oh, and buddy, your Commodore 64 had 64K of RAM.
It was an 8-bit machine with an 8-bit CPU.
Do us a favor. Buy a clue and read Wikipedia once in a while.

Your arguments would carry more weight if you didn't debase them with childlike monikers such as Droidiots. Just like Microsoft could have used more effective marketing. Not a criticism, just an observation.;)

Spoiler: Tim Cook's head looks like Steve Job's head from behind. Anyone who's trying to accuse MS of making him look like Jobs is just a rabid Apple fanboy.

I see a lot of complainers.

I own a number of apples products and only a couple computers with Microsoft os. But I think the video is funny. Poking fun at things that I myself have thought about the new iPhones.

You really think those features are going to improve the iPhone and give people features they are clamoring for? LOL!!!!! NFC mass adoption is a big question nor is widely used. So throwing that battery sucking feature in just to say you have it is just plain stupid. It needs to be something that has value and at this point it is just not there yet. Overall, It really does not benefit the majority of users. An SD card and removable battery just makes for a larger bulkier and uglier phone. Apple's goal is to give you and thin, stylish phone with great battery life through optimized hardware and Software. With airdrop, iCloud and other features SD cards are becoming irrelevant. Bigger screen? Maybe... and this something Apple might do but overall and I often go back and forth on the pro's and cons of a bigger screen.

The new Sony NEX5 has NFC, as do a lot of my local stores; so to say it wouldn't improve the iPhone, when every other high spec phone on the market have future proofed NFC built in, is a little lame ... as is your coment re a removable battery and SD card slot making phones bigger and uglier ... have you not held an S4 lately, or one of the many (often slimmer than the iPhone!) phones with this feature; something Apple won't give not because of aesthetics, but because they can make considerably more money from punters needing more memory. That is the real reason, so why do so many people feel the need to deny this and fool themselves? Finally ... iCloud ... Great ... But what if I don't want to store my footage on the cloud, what if my data plan doesn't allow, what if I have no reception ... But again, more importantly, why should I have to pay even more money to Apple for cloud storage when a micro SD is all I need. I've answered that already!

I don't agree with the uproar more than a few people seem to be in over these ads. I do, however, think they're quite lame and very poorly done. But I guess since they were taken down so quickly that must mean that MS was seeing quite the backlash.

The add is just as ****** as the new OS, and the new iPhones...

Still... everything they say is true.

This is quite sad. I actually miss Microsoft under Gates, because they at least conducted their business professionally back then. If they're jealous of Apple's success or can't accept that they have no taste, then they shouldn't be given the satisfaction of having Office on Mac computers.

It's a bad ad, also in poor taste. iPhone just needs a larger screen/smaller bezel and it will be damn near perfect. I'm glad Apple doesn't cater to the whiners who have nothing better to do than troll Apple. They're the ones that are truly getting the finger.
