Apple have made some great products in recent years.. like AirPods, etc. The Magic Mouse most certainly is not one of them. I find the shape uncomfortable, and I find it a constant problem with spurious inputs and the like. It sits unused here on my desk, and I've got back to a dependable Microsoft Intellmouse Optical from about 10 years ago!

try opening the lid of your macbook pro until just before it decides to turn on the display and see if it helps. i have to leave my lid open like this for the mouse to be useable.

I use the Magic Mouse with my Mac Mini... so it's not a signal issue or anything like that sadly :(

You can directly BLAME Apple for the high prices of Microsoft Surface Pro's and accessories, and along with it, Dell's ever increasing prices of their higher-tier hardware.
Which is worse; Everyone racing for the bottom or everyone racing for the top?

you think that is interesting....the Surface Pen uses AAAA batteries try to find them!
It could have been worse. They could have decided to use a built in, non-replaceable, proprietary, rechargeable battery; whose capacity would, inevitably, fade over time until the whole pen needs to be replaced.

microsoft has been doing a lot of things they know apple should have done but never did lately. all the things people have been screaming for over the years that went unheard on infinite loop drive.

of course this all happens right after i bought a custom magic mouse and keyboards painted black for a near fortune... would love a wireless keyboard that can touch to login and process apple pay for web purchases, etc. also would love a full sized keyboard with standard layout and to get back my backspace and page up/down keys.

The Mouse still has a scroll wheel... Is it supposed to be Retro?
Yeah, that kinda sucks. Maybe for gaming? That's the only reason a scroll wheel would be preferable.

The mouse looks like an ergonomic dream compared to Apple's.
Unless you're a little kid with small hands, in which case the Magic Mouse is great. Seriously, it would be a great mouse if they'd just make it bigger and figure out their stupid battery situation. Shouldn't be hard.

Only in this way, and in their crazy pricing structure! In their other products they have a full Desktop OS with multitouch, but still have a proprietary magnetic power port, and seemingly refuse to add even one USB-C port.

They can plug a dongle in to that magnetic port to get USB-C when needed.

At the moment most USB-C devices come with a USB-C to USB-A cable anyway.

Except it has good keys, not the butterfly trash Apple uses.

Then what the heck are you using Apple products for!
Not talking about the MacBook Pro keyboard.

I'm trying to work out if you're being facetious. The way I interpreted it is that the key doesn't stand out, that it's hidden in the crowd of identical keys. Your mileage may vary.
Lmao
