I have been through hours of troubleshooting with Apple with no resolution. Please send feedback to Apple. I'm not sure its a Verizon issue because I have multiple people in a group chat with different carriers having issues.Same issue here, as far as I can tell it’s only non-iMessage group chats. I have the 12 Pro on Verizon, and didn’t have this issue until activating it. Of course Verizon wanted to go through all the iMessage troubleshooting, even though it’s not iMessages that are the issue. 🙄
