Unfortuantely there's been some debate about that. People believe that the Yankees might want to keep the DH open so it can be used as a rest stop for older players like Posada. I hope that it's not the case though. Damon is considered a lock to come back.

Pedro definately doesn't have it tonight. Just like I thought his fastball is clocking mid 80s.

How could the ump call that a strike to Rodriguez? Wow these umps suck! It was a foot off the plate!
 
Matsui is clearly making his case to stay with the Yankees in this game. :)

Damn, no Damon miracles tonight. :(
 
Let's hope this is a high scoring game for the Phillies. I don't want to see this thing end with the Phillies getting knocked out with just one point. Something has to happen soon. If the Yankees keep up this rally, it won't be good for the Phillies.

Well Petitte looks really good. The Phillies will have to tie this before the eighth or they'll face Rivera. This is essentially a 7 inning game.
 
WTF? Pettitte being squeezed while Pedro was given that way off the plate strike?

Damn, Cano is being robbed this game. Two solid hits, but both got caught.

well the little phils put up a decent little fight, but this year played a real team. call me fair weather all you want robo but its a blue november babay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
This could potentially become a blowout. Manuel has no one to give the ball to right now and it's still early. They may not even ness Rivera.
 
We have now reached blowout status and Matsui is MVP. Wished he got that HR. Let's go Yankees!!!

Agreed. If you're reading this Buck, your father was a far better announcer. In the ninth I'll listen to Sterling to hear the call.

EDIT: Bot 7- Phillies should just allow Matsui to run to third if he gets a hit. The game is over and I would love for him to get the cycle.

It's nice how people always bring payroll up when the Yankees win the WS but were quiet in the past eight years. Never heard them bring it up when the Red Sox won it with the second highest payroll which was close to the Yankees in 2004.
