Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPod; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5A347 Safari/525.20)

well I just talked to an Apple rep about MobileMe and the lack of push services. He said that not all the servers areup yet and it should all be taken care of by the end of the day. There was just too much server traffic.

Here's what is working and what isn't working for me:

Create on iPod touch ---> pushes to iPhone but not iMac
Create on iPhone ---> pushes to iPod touch but not iMac
Create on iMac ---> doesn't push anywhere

This applies to both calendar events and iCal events.

So in a nutshell....I've installed the update but nothing pushes to my iMac and my iMac doesn't push anywhere else.

I have MobileMe on my iMac but I'm not sure if the settings are wrong and interfering with my iMac's ability to be part of the pushing.

Any thoughts>

UPDATE: Ok, I managed to solve everything by resetting the sync data on my iMac from MobileMe preferences. Things are hit and miss in terms of speed (somethings the updates take seconds, sometimes minutes) but it works.

I am in a similar situation, but it just tells me that the username or password is wrong. I know it isn't because I can 'login' via the preference pane and access some features.

I don't know why it won't let me log in! It seems like everyone else can.

Y... I'm having a weird problem that I haven't seen anyone else pointing out: MobileMe doesn't work for me in Safari (it opens up, but nothing at all is clickable), but it works perfectly fine in FireFox... I can open up each section, create emails, switch views in calendars, etc, etc... but I can't do any of that in Safari.

Talk about a weird problem... a website from Apple isn't rendering properly in Apple's browser. Ugh.

I'm finding that Safari v.4, developer preview, does not work (can't click my way out of mail, etc.) but Safari v.3 does work. Meanwhile, Firefox v.3 works. Rather strange...

Yeah, I hate to say it, but... "Told you so!" Heh...

I had a feeling there was going to be chaos when they tried to release the iPhone 3G, iPhone Software 2.0, iTunes 7.7 and MobileMe all at the same time... Ugh.

Regardless, I digress... Are you running Safari Dev kit 4.0? I had the same issues and had to uninstall 4.0 and run 3.1.1 and everything is fine now.

Let's hope so. My push email to the IPhone has stopped working.

EDIT: It now seems to be pushing mail to the IPhone once again.

me.com works, webemail still doesnt for me, just spins loading. Also seems like i cant login in system prefs

manually installed version 1.0; however, no version 1.1 in software update for me:confused:

Same here. Also no MM icons anywhere else. Like the iDisk or iPhoto.

And the PUSH only works if Im operating in the me.com web interface. Nowhere else. Im a huge Apple fanboy so it takes a major screw up for me to complain but this is pretty bad. :-(

I created a .mac/MobileMe account a few days before the transition and was intent on spending Friday evening playing with it. Finding it mostly dead, I spent the time instead building an alternative with OpenLDAP (address book), WebDAV (calendar/iDisk), etc.

Leopard Mail supports IMAP IDLE (i.e. push-ish), but I hear the iPhone doesn't - probably because Mail quits when you leave its screen? I may be wrong. When I actually get round to organising my photos into iPhoto, it seems there are some third-party plugins for alternative gallery apps.

I can't login either. I get the same error message but I do get all my push features to my iphone. Also, when opening mobileme in system pref. (this is after the 1.1 update) the account status just gives me an error message.

There are still references and .Mac logos strewn about Leopard even after the 1.1 update. You think they would've given all this a big test run before making it live and had some folks beta test it and provide comments. Very slipshod work here, not to mention that there aren't updates for Tiger, et al. yet either.

It should've gone something like this:

:apple: guy #1: "Okay, .me is almost ready, did we forget anything?"
:apple: guy #2: "I dunno, did you check things like iPhoto to see if there's stuff in there that needs changed?"
:apple: guy #1: "Good point. We should go through the apps one at a time just to make sure we didn't miss anything before letting this go live."

:apple: guy #2: "Oh, and do you think we should keep the 'cloud' reference? Isn't telling all these savvy Mac users that their stuff is in a magical cloud in the sky a bit infantile and patronizing?"

I am having the same issue. I cannot login via me.com but its works through the system preferences.

even if you aren't a .Mac member, going to the .Mac system preference pane, and just click around on the entry fields for username and password, and just let the pane sit open for a minute, and then I got the notice to pop up to go to software update, and lo and behold, MM update 1.1 appeared!

I have nearly the same problem except in safari some services appear but most of the time none work. Oddly all work fine in FireFox though slow. Apple should get their act together and do something about this embarrassing problems.
