no iPhone....

Although I would love to be wrong there is no way that the iPhone (3G or not) is going to just turn up on the Asia-Pacific stores.

Not really a silent update event, wouldn't you think?

Apple Store UK Refurb Products have seen big price drops, how is this also limited time on the iMac's?? Maybe a hint!!

If they just update the imacs I think I might jump off something tall. Like a refrigerator.

The MBP is the runty kid who's always last picked for the team. :(

Oh, and don't forget, if they DON'T release the MBP today its a good sign that they're holding them for a big launch at a special event due to a major revision, so maybe it's not all bad... :D

Less is more.

Ah, I see what you mean.

The six digit numbers for business are auctioned off by our (near monopoly) telco. They usually sell for about A$10 000 - about US$9000. Only big companies like Apple have them.

Regular business often have a 1300 number (I do) and then our local numbers are 8-digit like anywhere else.

One thing better than the US though - our area codes cover an entire state, and we only have 5 of them! I know the US has dozens - hundreds even.

Sorry for being off-topic - killing time until the stores come back up!
