More New Apple Products... This Tuesday?

Nay I say "Here we go again". Let the waiters get to that waiting thing. Let the "well Montevina is right around the corner" folks start asking if this upgrade should be skipped. And let everyone go nuts at 8:30 am on Tuesday if updates have not arrived. Business as usual.

Wouldn't it make send to release Time Capsule after a new MBP? I mean- Time Capsule is made for Time Machine and without Time Machine, no Time Capsule.
(Eventhough every current 10.5 user can use Time Machine- there are heaps of us waiting for a new MBP and willing to spend a few bucks more on a nice backup solution)

I agree with you guys about the stylus being beyond dumb, but in his defense the Multi-Touch surface patent had several things about a stylus in it.

I don't think the issue is releasing something every tuesday, because Time Capsule has already been announced. I doubt their announcement this Tuesday would be, "Attention: Were finally shipping your crap!" I for one wouldn't count that as keeping up with their 'every tuesday of 2008' pattern. I'm not saying that Time Capsule is this week, or that Apple must hold to this 'every Tuesday' pattern. I'm just saying the fact that they are shipping Time Capsule doesn't seem to have anything to do with a Tuesday announcement.

As much as I'm looking forward to the new MBPs, I think the shipment in question is most likely Time Capsule. TC was supposed to ship by the end of February, and it looks like it will, otherwise Apple would have announced a delay by now.

Oh God, I know what you mean! That's my Wintel machine, and it's louder than the Air-Purifier in my room.
 
Why are people saying the MB / MBA keyboard WONT feature on the MBP as its not very Pro?

What keyboard does the Mac Pro ship with? Is it not the wired MB / MBA style keyboard?

It cant do as 'thats not very pro!' ;)

No, I really don't think they will. A Newton, YES. I know they are all computers, but a folding laptop will have a the multi-touch surface not a touch screen. It is not practical at all.
 
Make your minds up!!

My new MBP turned up Friday, and I've been told that Apple will exchange it for an new model that is released within a month! It would be nice to know if this phantom MBP will ever turn up. or should I just send it back and wait?

Excellent idea. They could remove all the ports that currently prevent Apple from making the MBP any thinner, such as Ethernet and FireWire. They could then replace the DVI port by micro-DVI, toss the SuperDrive, shrink the screen, make the device much lighter and thinner, and call it, let's say "MacBook Air"...

Thanks. I know the IO isn't Apple hardware. And that sucks about FCS. Anybody know what the problem is??? :( I'm surprised I haven't heard anything about people being pissed off about that. It just kind of disappeared.
