Is anyone going to order the iPhone 14 Plus model?

That's it- the phones have to be even bigger next year! (from a sad Mini owner)
Sure hope we get another stab at a "smallish" new iPhone in the future
It's already known that the iphone 15 will get dynamic island, this was already known even before the 14 was released. Nothing new, and Apple is not reacting to anything. It's their standard business strategy to trickle down tech. What does this mean for next year revs? They can’t shoot themselves in the foot twice? I suspect all models of the iPhone 15 will carry flagship design features and software with exception of the display, camera and finish. But A17, Dynamic Island and possibly RAM might be standard this time. Apple has got to realize people are holding onto these phones much longer. I don’t see many on 12, 13, 14 Pros all upgrading to the 15.
Yet the more expensive Pro models are selling well. How does that jive with your theory?Inflation (gas, foods, interest rate), everyone is looking after their pockets. Recession possibility.
Keep on dreamingAs pro models are proving most popular, perhaps Apple will realize there's a market for an iPhone 15 Mini Pro? It would seem a great range: Mini Pro, regular Pro, Pro Max
The high class buying them, not the middle class.Yet the more expensive Pro models are selling well. How does that jive with your theory?
It's just BS data. I mean how are they even getting the 14 Plus? Or they just did it to artificially suppress trade in values later.I'm very confused - why would anyone sell their new device within the return window for 60% of the purchase price?
There are still a lot of rich people I guess? And they tend to struggle less and have to make sacrifices less than the poor…Yet the more expensive Pro models are selling well. How does that jive with your theory?
By that logic, the 14 Pro should be selling less as percentage of "high class" is actually quite small. But it's selling more, meaning more people are actually buying the Pro models. Your theory just doesn't jive. The high class buying them, not the middle class.![]()
You know what they meant but instead you’re trying to start an argument. Apple isn’t your friend. Stop trying to carry water for them.So if someone is coming from an iPhone 8 the 14 isn’t exciting and offers no improvements?
The mini is done. It completed its real mission, which is to accustom people into spending $800 for the regular iphone vs $700 (when the iphone 11 was launched). Now people unknowingly have &800 as the base price of iphones. Mission accomplished, time to go higher., Aka 14 Plus.Bring back the mini for the 15. It’ll have the Dynamic Island as well since all iPhone 15 models will have it.
So if someone is coming from an iPhone 8 the 14 isn’t exciting and offers no improvements?
That’s not the target market. The amount of people in that situation would be marginal at best.So if someone is coming from an iPhone 8 the 14 isn’t exciting and offers no improvements?
Because no one wants it. lol. People pay the upcharge for Pro models. Apple screwed any chance of selling this model when they delayed it 3 weeks from the other models. How can the Plus model be losing resale value when it isn’t even available yet?
Who would have thought that people want the best they can get…As pro models are proving most popular, perhaps Apple will realize there's a market for an iPhone 15 Mini Pro?
It would seem a great range: 15 Mini Pro, 15, 15 Pro Max
Oh, so you think that wasn’t intentional?Because no one wants it. lol. People pay the upcharge for Pro models. Apple screwed any chance of selling this model when they delayed it 3 weeks from the other models.
More like people don’t want to spend 700 hundred dollars on a phone that is considered right out of the gate as the cheap one.Recession turning to depression fears has an impact everywhere.
