If Steve does announce the Beatles on iTunes I hope to hear one more thing. Since we have that new data center all iTunes music will be lossless.

Interesting... I never thought of that before. Storing copious amounts of lossless music would be an awesome way to use this new data center. If only most people had fast enough Internet to make it a reality.

Steve Jobs announces... That Lennon's murder was a hoax, Lennon is alive, and releasing his next album exclusively on iTunes. Now THAT would be memorable, LOL!

If the rumor is true I won't even remember the day for a second for I already have all of the beatles albums and put them on my itunes. LOL

tl;dr

found *one* interesting post tho...
The ad does not state tomorrow is another day you will never forget.

"Tomorrow is just another day.
That you'll never forget."

The ad implies that you will never forget that tomorrow is just another day. Actually, quite the let down if you think about it.
Exactly. I mean, i don't know if i agree with your interpretation/conclusion or not... but almost no one has tuned into the fact that there are TWO separate sentences... and the implied meaning is quite different from what most people (want to) see.

You may be right.

As far as The Beatles go, even ignoring their vast musical accomplishments and their influence on generations of other bands... the situation is this: Apple Corps. and Apple Inc. have been waging war for a long long time (possibly since before most of the disappointed folks here were born). So if tomorrow's announcement is about the end of that battle, then it is indeed historic... whether you "like" it or not.

Who gives a shot about the Beatles?

I don't think this is not a great announcement, and not worth the Apple's frontpage; at most iTunes frontpage would have been more appropriate.

Really hope is not about this. Is disappointing in my opinion.

Hear hear.
