iPhone 5 by far .... Too fragile, but very beautiful

----------

4 and 4s are almost identical ....

Did you understand the poll ?

The uk 4 and 4s have different antenna bands

Yes I could include the CDMA 4 in my likes but over here we don't have CDMA so it's the 4s

As far as looks go, it's 5/5S and it's not close for me. With feel as the criteria I'd take the 3g/3gs. Those phones just felt great in your hand with those smoothly rounded corners.

Different antenna bands ?
Uk iPhone 4 and 4s were exactly the same of Italian 4 and 4s and they are almost identical ....

CDMA iPhone 4 is identical to any other iPhone 4/4S aesthetically speaking ...

That'd be really gaudy...that is, in my imagination. And gaudy in a different way than how the colorful 5c might be considered gaudy. I doubt apple would do that.

Given how subtle gold is and how it looks silver under some lighting conditions, black and gold wouldn't be gaudy at all and would look nothing like the aforementioned mockup. If anything, black and gold would be less flashy/loud than white and gold as white stands out more.

I would say the 4/4S. I have the 5S now which I love but personally I prefer the sleek glass back rather than the aluminium panel. It's still nice, I just think the uniformity of the 4S pips the 5/5S to the post. Mind you I never see the back as it's in a case, so for the uniformity (I think the home button on the 5S blends in better) for the front I'd say the 5S (not the 5)

Definitely the black and silver 4s for me. I didn't like the 2 tone when they introduced the 5 but I have a 5s now and it's growing on me. But still, I'd say the 4s is the best for me (although obv the screen is smaller).

Oh heck no!

Sorry, but I waited an entire year after Sprint got the iPhone just to avoid those models and go with the iPhone 5.

The 4/4s is a great iPhone, but I have never liked it's design. That stainless steel band should have been solid black. It's short and it's thick and the back glass had the real bad habit of breaking.

Most iPhone 4/4s owners also seemed obsessed with making sure that their iPhones were encased in one of those fugly neon bumpers. Others just had to put them in Otterboxes or other cases where it's impossible to even tell that it's an iPhone. It made what I already dislike about as fugly as you can get.

No. The iPhone 5. Solid black (including the band), no back glass. The back is metal! And it is NOT thick or short. Much better looking!

Incidentally, I like the 3GS too (I have one) but the iPhone 5 is the best looking in my opinion.

I'd say the 5s too, but Apple took away black so…no.

No. Just no.

lol … seriously??

Yes, symmetry seriously is the main (only?) difference.

Remember that this thread is specifically about opinions; I too prefer the symmetrical 4S over the older 4. I personally also think that the 5-series is too tall. I've never seen a 3-series in person and the original one was never released here so I can't comment on that.

I think 4/4S or 5S, 5 is good until you scratch it and it happened very easy. 5C is a joke, Jobs would never allow this to happen.

4/4S hands down. This phone really did change the game all over again. It was an extraodinary piece of design for a mobile handset.

I own an iPhone 5 and i like the slimness but wish they would have kept the antenna the same material as the 4/4S. The soft anodised aluminium was a serious flaw in design imo.

I think the 5C are nice looking phones too.

Of all the iPhones I've seen and held, my proclamation is that the black iPhone 5 was the sexiest of them all.

Of all the ones I owner (3Gs, 4s and now 5s) my favorite in regards to how it felt and seemed firm in my hand was the 3Gs. I never felt like I might drop the 3Gs and I cannot say that when I hold a naked 4s or 5s.

the 5/5s is the best phone from a screen size and power standpoint, plus LTE is now a must have.

That being said I miss my 3G/3Gs, that phone is what made me love iPhones! The curved back plastic was so smooth to hold and use. However I couldn't imagine using the lower def. screen or even being on a 3G data feed.

The iPhone 5c has a similar feel to the 3G/3GS.

The original iphone without a doubt....!! It was the most amazing design ever.

I've had the 2G, 3G, 3GS, 4 and currently 5.

Infact I loved the original so much that I bought a new one from ebay a couple of months back. :D

All depends what type of screen you like.

Black IP5 4" Screen

Black & White IP4S 3.75" Screen

The iPhone 5 design, especially the 5s due to the chrome ring around the home button. The white silver 5/5s just feel like jewelry with the (shiny!) chamfered edge and this model doesn't show scuffing.
