Hi,
I have an old MB running snow Leopard and need to transfer my itunes from that computer to a new user account on a family members new MB Air running Mavericks. How?

Situation:
I got a new iPhone 6 and went to set it up through iTunes by using my previous iPhone's backup on my old (2007) MB. It won't connect to iTunes though because i'm not running the current version of itunes and my MB is too old to update it.

So i figure the fix is getting my existing iTunes with backups, songs and all, onto a new account on the new computer.

Question:
How do I selectively transfer only that data and not my entire old MB's backup?(I have it all on an xternal drive backup).

Thanks
