I think everything on the front page (most recent comments on various threads in various parts of the forum, etc.) is way too spread out, but that's just my opinion.

edit: Oops, thought this was a thread on the new front page redesign, that will teach me to read the rest of the thread after the most recent comment.

I think it looks great, nice and fresh. Certainly a worthwhile update of the site.

Really don't like the "skinny" redesign

I just hate having 70% of my screen filled with white space when I expect the website to fill the page. Not a fan of the new site.

Tried the email option on the main page, and got a bounceback too. Not good.

Yeah, I just lost about 15% on each side of the forum.

I completely agree. As long as the site is fixed a certain size I can't say I enjoy the redesign. Aside from that it looks great.

Hopefully a fix is coming soon!

Is there a way to make fluid the default, I have to click it every time.

Never mind it seems to be working.

I think I'm liking it too. Buyer's Guide is more useful, and the front page looks modern while still looking like MacRumors (I was kinda afraid that the new site would try to reinvent itself too much). No more Page 2, but that didn't seem to get too much traffic anyway.

Honestly, not sure I'm the greatest fan, but I think I just need to get used to it. I'm not too fussed, it still works (so far). Good job on the redesign.

Good looking re design.

One small issue: it appears that the minimum width of the page is set somewhere close to 1024px. However, at this browser viewport setting (1024x768), the page is about 50-60px (Windows, FF4.x) too wide and results in some horizontal scrolling needed.
Would be great if you can adjust it to 960px to be safe.

I don't see a problem here. Oh I see, I don't think the site is set to run that small. On a wider screen it looks fine.
